Blue eyes

The crow

I open my eyes to see puppet asleep, and i just smile softly. I slowly push myself up off my bed and look at my phone to see no new messages. I sigh as i walk to the kitchen to see a note on the kitchen table. I walk to it and pick it up.

" Hello darling when you read this i will be gone, i tried to wake you to say goodbye but i couldn't you where in a deep sleep. I had to go on a business trip and i will be back in five says on Friday. I love you my little girl don't ever change." 

I smile sadly as a tear slides down my face but i quickly wipe it away. I walk into my room and pack a bag t go for a ride to the next two towns over. I put food water in it as well as some tools to fix my bike if it breaks. I go to my dads room and find $200 sitting on his bed like he always leaves it. i grab it and put $50 of it in my bag then the rest i hide in my room. 

I put food in to puppets bowl and give him a pat "be back in about six hours buddy". I run outside and lock the door on the way out. It still Saturday and its about 5 in the afternoon but i go for my ride anyway. My music playing through my earphones as i zoom passed the houses in my street, I continue riding passed the park where i stacked. I look at the spot as i go passed but i don't stop. The bike wheels spinning round and round as i continue to pettle. As i ride i look around and see all the different birds flying. I wonder what it is like to fly, to be free and go anywhere you wont with nothing to stop me. I slow down as i start to get near the woods to take a detour in through the track in the woods.

I get off my bike to push it for a bit and turn my music off to enjoy the sound of nature. As i walk i can hear the waterfall and walk towards it. whistling a a song a crow lands next to me looking at me curiously. I giggle and pull my back off my back and open it taking a cooked bacon strip out of my bag and place it next to the crow. i watch it pick it up with its black beck and fly off. I continue to walk towards the waterfall. As i get closer i see the same crow from before giving the bacon to a crow on the floor.  I slowly walk towards it and start to pat it, i pull my bag off my back and grab more bacon out and give it to the crow. As it is eating i look over the crow to see where it is hurt, i touch her right wing and she makes a horrible noise. 

I quickly take my jumper off and get my bad comfy enough for the crow to sit in it i pick her us but she panics a bit. "shh don't worry i'm going to help you i promise" i whisper to the crow i pick her up again and place her into my bag with her mate near by. I stand up place the bag on my chest and start to walk out of the woods with my bike i zip the bag up a bit so i can ride and get her to a vet. As i ride i see you blue eyed boy. I ride up to him "help this g=crow in my bag is injured and i don't know hoe to get to the vet" He looks at me confused so i unzip my bad and show him the now sleeping crow. "okay i will hop on the back of your bike on the stunt pegs." He gets on and i start to ride every now and again he tells me to turn. 

We make it to the vet and he gets off i rush inside a o the front desk and open my bag showing the receptionist the injured crow he call the the veterinarian and he takes her away. "i will call you when she is ready to go home" the   veterinarian says. I walk out of the vet my bag now on my back the blue eyed boy is still there as well as the crows mate. I sit down next to him and look at his eyes. The deep blue staring back into my brown ones. 

I sit there worried for the crow hopping shes okay. I rest my head on my knees as my hands shake. Then i will a warm and grab mine and squeeze ever so gently. I left my head and look to my right at the blue eyed boy and smiled. 

We sat there in silence for hours way past dark. Just sitting there hand in hand waiting form someone to come out. I rest my head on his solders falling asleep when the doors open and a nurse walks out with the crow in your arms wrapped up in a blanket asleep. "She has a broken wing it is strapped come back in two days to get another look at it" She says places the crow into my arms and walking inside. 

I stand up crow in my arms with my bag on my shoulders and the crows partners sitting on the blue eyes boys lap. "can you help me please" I ask shyly, he looking into my eyes and smile picking up my bike and starts walking to my house with my behind him. The crows partner flying above us watching above.

We make to my house and i unlock the front door and walk in but he stays at the front door. "it late do you want to stay here the night?" i asked him. I watch as his face goes bright red, He drops my bike and start to leg it down my front lawn and around the corner. 

Confused i grab a box put some blankets in it the place the sleeping crow inside. The crows mate enters the house and sits next to her and goes to sleep. I grab my bike take it to the back yard and close my front door. Damn i didn't get his name or his number i think to myself as i changed into PJ. I climb into bed thinking of the blue eyed boy.
