The Comeback

Yunho woke up to his alarm blaring, it was 7 AM. He lazily turned it off and rolled out of bed. A smile ran across his face as he remembered, "Today is the day" he said. Yes, today was the day that Changmin was being released from the Army. He missed his band member a lot over the long time they were apart. He was ready to make their comeback, but most of all, he was ready to see his best friend again.

Waiting in his apartment for a call from the other was making him more anxious by the second. Sure they had taken leave every once in a while to see each other, but it had been so long since they had properly spent any alone time together. They didn't live together anymore which made matters worse to Yunho. I mean it's not like that meant anything, right? I mean they made the decision to get different places, together. It was a mutual thing. Even so, it still kind of pained him when he was helping Changmin move out.

Yunho sighed and sat his phone down on the bathroom counter. He was planning to take Changmin out to celebrate his release and catch up. He has literally brushed his teeth twice, checked his outfit, and fixed his hair in the mirror multiple times in the past 3 hours. Why was he so nervous? Suddenly his phone started ringing. He looked at the caller ID to see it was Changmin. His stomach started to flutter as he answered as swiftly, but as calmly as possible. "H-hello?" Yunho kicked himself mentally for stuttering.

"Hey Yunho! I just got released and Hey! Let me tell you something..." Changmin started rambling. He really missed being able to talk to Yunho. He had friends from the other K-pop groups in the Army, but they always kind of excluded him when they started talking to their fellow members about their comebacks. He was really thankful for Yunho.

Yunho was completely zoned out. He was hardly listening to what the younger was saying, he was just mesmerised by his voice. It sounded more mature, he sounded more... Attractive? Wait what am I thinking? He suddenly shook those thoughts out of his head and tried to interrupt the younger. "Changmin I-" he started

"And you won't BELIEVE what Siwon said next..."

"Changmin," Yunho suddenly started sounding desperate. "Listen for a second-"

"I mean yeah he includes me and considers me a part of the band, but-"

"CHANGMIN!" Yunho yelled. The younger stopped talking and sounded kind of worried.

"Hyung, are you okay?"

Yunho regained his composure and spoke softer, "Stop rambling. We can talk about all of this over lunch."

"Lunch? Oh! I'm starving!" The younger just realized he hasn't eaten since last night.

"Alright, go home, get ready, and head over here so we can go. Wherever you want, got it?" Yunho smiled. He was ready to see Changmin.

"Got it, hyung. See you soon," Changmin smiled and hung up. He was excited to see Yunho as well and was well aware that Yunho would try and mention their comeback while they ate. Yunho loved talking business. He was passionate, but sometimes maybe a bit too passionate. Don't get him wrong, Changmin loved music and his career, but he would sometimes like to just sit back and not worry about TVXQ. They did have to think about their fans though, so Changmin just shook his head and smiled. When it comes down to it, there was no resting anytime soon.

Changmin got to Yunho's apartment and was walking up to the door. As soon as Changmin got ready to knock, Yunho swung the door open and pulled Changmin in. "Woah, woah, hey leader. What's up?"

"Shut up, just let me look at you." Changmin was kind of shocked at what the older said. To relieve the awkwardness he made a joke.

"Hyung?"

"Yes?" Yunho asked.

"Don't you think maybe you should lose some weight?" Yunho immediately looked down at himself.

"Yah! That wasn't called for! I've been trying to work out! No 'hey buddy I missed you' or 'I saw your accomplishments'?" Yunho was whining at this point. He was so embarrassed. Changmin was laughing at his behavior and that made Yunho even more flustered.

"Come on Yunho. Let's go eat." Changmin put his arm around Yunho's shoulder and walked out of the apartment and to his car. Yunho's face getting redder and redder each second.

I decided to post chapter one since I'm home from work sick. I just wrote chapter two so when I write three I'll upload it. These sinuses are going to be the death of me. My throat agghh. Also thanks to the two people who looked at this story before anything was posted. You're cool! Lol 😋😂🤗💕
