nightmare

I was walking with my sister in the woods. We were talking, I dont remember what but I knew we were talking about somthing that we were excited about. As we were walking a man came out from a tree. We looked at him with curious glances and slowly stepped back trying to get away. He stepped forward every time we made a step back. Like a game of cat and mouse. But we were the mice and he was the cat. He made a grab for me but I moved out of his reach, and he growled at me then grabbed my sister she screamed as I tried to grab her. He kicked me and i fell. He ran and I chased him but I couldnt catch up. I lost sight of him and dropped to my knees an wept. I wept untill I became numb. I stayed in that forest for what seemed like hours upon hours until I heard voices. I hid fearing it was the man who took my little sister. "Lu were are you?" Called the voice. It sounded like a girls voice. I slowly came out from my hiding spot to see my mother. I ran to her and wept into her blue dress. "M-mommy! S-someone! T-took her!" I said. "You mean the baby?" She said confused. "M-mhm!" I said my words and breathing becoming uneven. "Oh! Shes right here!" She said as she showed me a swaddle of blankets. "See?" She showed me the face and I screamed. There was my sister her face bloody and bruised a gash along her head. "B-b-but who was t-the girl?" I said crying harder seeing my baby sister deceased. "What girl? You were the only in the forest dear" she said and laughed as she looked at my baby sister one more time. "I-i..." I stuttered unable to make words come from my mouth. My mother sighs, "well now that your baby sister is gone...YOUR NEXT!'' she bellowed as she lunged at me.

I shot up out of my bed. Tears running down my face from the nightmare that seemed to real for my liking. I curled in a ball and sobbed quietly. Afraid that my parents would hear me.
