"Can you smile just a little?" The woman sitting in front of me asked, a look of concern on her face. The woman seemed intrigued by my fidgeting in the white chair I was forced to sit in for an hour everyday. I bit my lip and thought about it for a minute. Should I smile for the strange woman across the table from me? I sat back in the chair uncomfortably and she sighed, marking things down on her clipboard. "No progress," it read , and she was furiously checking off boxes that made me seem like a horrible person.
Well, I couldn't really lie. Of course I was a horrible person, otherwise I wouldn't be in a hospital for crazy people. I sighed anyway and walked out of the room later on, before being put back into my little "dorm," as they called it. An isolated and rusty bed and a few spiders was considered a dorm. Logical.
I'm deathly terrified of spiders. Anybody who had ever talked to me knew this. Yet, I attracted the "creepy-crawlies" for some odd reason. I watched as one crawled up the wall, and disappeared, much to my relief.
I woke up in a cold sweat a few hours later and I was covered in spiders. The unnatural beings crawled all over me, in and out of my mouth, and I couldn't scream. All I could do was lie there as they suffocated me, slowly.
