home again

The four were finally back home again. Ellie and Hannah were rollling around on the living room floor with the dogs, Yoongi was sat on the sofa with his laptop occasionally glancing up and smiling at his...whatever she was now and Jimin was pacing around on the phone talking about work matters. Everyone was relaxed and happy after their week away, that is, up until Si-hyuck walked in.
"Boys, my girls. Could I have your attention a moment please?" He asks and Jimin ends his call quickly and they all look towards Si-hyuck.

"Tonight the chefs are preparing a special dinner as I have an announcement to make. Please make an effort to dress for dinner. This is an important one." He smiles with a nod as he walks out. Ellie glances at Yoongi who looks to Jimin who shrugs and goes back to his phone.
"I have no idea" he mutters as he presses the call button and Yoongi looks back to his kitten.
"Apparently. No one has any idea." He repeats with a small smile and the girls go back to playing with their pets.

That evening they all make a little more effort for dinner. Hannah wore a short black skirt with a long sleeve black crop top, Jimin black jeans and a white shirt making all his tattoos visible and with a few of the top buttons open, Ellie a loose short red velvet skirt with a low cut black body suit and Yoongi had blue ripped jeans with a black shirt and the sleeves rolled up displaying his inked arms. They all made their way down to dinner to find Si-hyuck sat at the table with Jiwoo to his left.

Jimin stopped dead in his tracks and Yoongi nearly choked on his own saliva.
"Father. Why are you allowing a servant to the table?!" Jimin scolded and his father stayed silent just gesturing for them to all take a seat.

The large square table had been set two to each side, a couple on each side leaving one side unoccupied. They all went to sit down the boys next to their toys until Si-hyuck spoke up.
"For tonight why don't we switch it up?" Causing all eyes to glance around at each other. Yoongi was first to speak up after seeing Jimin's glare avert to his precious Kitten.
"Why, father? We always sit in the same couples."
"Exactly." And there was a little silence and a small smirk from his father.
"Unless of course you're so dearly attached you can't possibly let her sit next to your brother." And Yoongi knew he'd been played.
"No. We'll sit as always." Jimin cut in saving his brother and himself from sitting next to the girl who he disliked more every day by grabbing Hannah's hand and pointing to a seat she was to sit in.

After everyone was seated and they'd received some strange glances from Si-hyuck the food was served.
"Hannah Christ slow down" Jimin scolded under his breath as she started her third glass of wine through out dinner.
"Why? I'm just relaxing daddy" she mumbled forking a piece of food and shoving it in her mouth. She noticed Ellie shooting her glances from across the table and then to Jiwoo who was twirling something on her hand. Hannah got the hint and tried to get a better look as her eyes widened and she looked at Ellie.
"It looks like a ring!" She mouthed and Ellie dropped her fork causing a loud clatter making Yoongi look at her with wide eyes.
"Are you okay Peach?" He asked and she nodded quickly.
"Fine. I think" she smiled as she widened her eyes, raised her eyebrows and  tilted her head at Hannah who snorted earning her a quick thigh slap from Jimin under the table causing both girls to hold in laughter.

The last course was served and eaten. Hannah has been scolded several times, Yoongi was losing patience with Ellie as she kept shooting glances across the table and Jimin was still glaring at Jiwoo and the fact she was at the table not serving it.
"Jimin! Stop glaring like that for heavens sake!" Si-Hyuck scolded causing all heads to turn to him as he stood up.
"This has been a lovely dinner. Thank you for dressing as asked. Now if you'll allow me I'd like to say a few things-" And there was a mixture of nervous and confused looks across the table as he carried on "- this family over the last year has expanded greatly. We've gone from three men who spent copious hours working and doing little else to three men, two dogs and two wonderful girls, who I'm certain are changing my boys for the better." Jimin smirked and Yoongi rubbed his nose to hide the fact he was suppressing laughter.
"So I'd like to take this opportunity to announce that we will be adding a third member to our family. Me and Jiwoo will be getting married in a few months time!" He beamed and there was dead silence at the table for a few seconds before chaos erupted.
"HOOOOLY COW!" Hannah slurred loudly
"Puddin you'll get yourself in trouble shut-"
"Peach don't get involved!" Yoongi chastised clapping a hand over her mouth.
"YOONGI STOOOOP!" Ellie whined through his hand as Hannah clapped and laughed, Jimin was roaring at his father,
"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING"
"Sit down son!" Jiwoo looked lost and was stood up waving her hands around trying to calm the clamour, the dogs were barking and bounding around the room as Jin ran in after chasing them around the table trying to usher them out. All this happened within a few seconds of utter pandemonium until Yoongi shouted in his deep voice.
"THATS ENOUGH!" And even the dogs stopped misbehaving. After a second of silence he stood from his chair and started to leave the room.
"Ellie were going. Come." And for once, she didn't sass, or rebel, she just followed him as Jimin and Hannah also followed shortly after into the living room.
