Chapter Four

They keep saying Harry won't come for me, and that they will have a stupid hybrid to murder. I whimper as one of the men kicks me in my ribs, I hear a few crack and cough up a lot of blood.

"You deserve this pain. You don't deserve to live, you're a creature that wasn't supposed to make it, you're a disgrace." The man spat at me, as he kneels down and raises a knife to my right ear, my cat one to be exact. He swipes the sharp blade across it just to enough to make it start gushing out blood. I whimper and he slowly bring the knife to my cheek making a clean cut directly across it, stopping the blade an inch away from my eye. "I would just kill you know, but I want that money. So not yet." He says and shoves the bloody knife into his hoodie pocket, standing back up and walking out. I take a look around the room. The walls were made of cement and had chains hanging from them. The floor that I was currently laying on was made of concrete and had puddles of blood everywhere, torn and tattered clothes scattered everywhere. I crawl over to the wall, reach for a chain and pull myself up, leaning against the wall for support. I have lost tons of blood in the past hour and I felt light headed, but I was determined to get out of here and see Harry again. I wanted him to know I love him.

Just as I regain some of my strength, the door is flung open and two men, who looked about forty, come into the room and walks straight toward me. "Time to go, hope you're ready to never see him." The taller of the two says, his hair was jet-black and was messy, his eyes were an ocean green. The smaller of the two had feathery brown hair with gray hairs everywhere, his eyes were a dark hazy gray. The taller of the two men, roughly handcuffed me and shoved me towards the smaller of them, I whimper as I get slammed against the wall. "Let's go." He says an they walk out, practically dragging me with them.

I squint my eyes as we walk outside, the sunlight always bugged me, even more so, seeming how I have not seen anything colorful or bright in what seems like forever. A few thoughts cross my mind. What if Harry doesn't come for me or what if he's hurt, what if they hurt him?

I was dragged over to an old rusty Chevy pickup truck and shoved into the bed of the truck, the two men sit in the back with me as four people climb into the back seat and two more climb up front. A woman climbs into the front passenger seat, her brown hair flowed passed her perfect shoulders and her pale blue eyes sparkled. She wore black ripped jeans and a blue flannel shirt, she sat down and took her phone out. I glance out the side of the truck bed and sigh.

"Shut up!" One of the men in the bed of the truck yells at me, slapping me across the face, I wince and tears threatened to fall, but I didn't let them. "Pathetic hybrid." The same guy says, with anger in his deep husky voice. "Start the car! Let's get going, before I kill this darned thing!" The guy shouted to the driver.

"Chill Dave, if you kill it we don't get any money." The rather tall gentleman sitting in the drivers seat says, his fire red hair messy. He then started the car, my cat ears immediately go back, not liking the loudnss of the engine.

I saw the girl smack one of the men and say, "get off of me, I don't go for druggies." She scooted closer to the driver. The girl and the driver look similar. I sigh very quietly, as we start going down the road. I'm watching my surroundings wondering if Harry will come and save me or if he doesn't care what happens to me.

After what seemed like forever, which in reality was only four hours, the truck is turned off and everyone gets out, minus the girl, I'm dragged out of the bed of the truck and shoved to the ground. "Stay." The guy, apperantly called Dave, says and grabs a gun, leaning against the truck.
