After our last period together I had to get some stuff from my locker so max waited out side for me. Once I got my stuff I headed outside and I felt like my heart has been ripped out of my chest and stomped on in front of my face.there was max making out with Veronica with his hands on her waist and her hands in his hair. I felt sad but also enraged as well. like how could he do this to me? why would he? why should I care at all it's not like I really liked him,right? so I did the only thing I could think of and ran through the halls and to the back exit and went into the woods. I didn't care that I was running into the woods and leaving my poor truck in the parking lot all I cared about was getting as far away from max as possible. I think I ran for at least 30 min before I stopped and then I fell to the ground sobbing.then I heard a twig snap and came face to face with a giant black wolf. I should have been terrified, right? But I wasn't something felt safe about him so I got up slowly and started to walk away when it whimpered I turned back around to find it laying down on its back so I walked up to him and scratched his belly and it was the cutest thing ever he started to wag his tail and roll over. once he was sitting in front of me he licked my face. I really didn't want to be walking around in the woods by myself so I motioned him to follow and he did. "at least someone will always be there for me" I mumbled to my self. and the wolf whimpered and put his head under my hand so I could stroke it.
