Tick tock, our time goes.

The ocean glistens under the blue sky, bright, warm light spills onto the corals and sand, beams of sunray shoot right through, penetrating the clear water in golden streaks.

"Mother!" A small infant dophin called out.

The young dophin had beautiful shining gray coloration and beady midnight black eyes, contrasting to it's body. The sun's pleasant gaze dispersed all around the beautiful infant's smooth body, reflecting a blinding gold gleam.

Swish swosh, the waters flow.

"My child."

The adult dolphin of a slightly darker skin shade who seems to be the mother of the infant glided gracefully through the tides, to her offspring. Something looked off.

Tick tock, where'd father go?

She was afraid to meet her child's eyes, slightly cowering under the infant's curious burning gaze.

"No where my child, you do not need to worry about that. Not yet."

Her voice wavered, but soon covered it up as if though she was laughing.

Flick flock, the colors sank low.

"Wow. Look at this jellyfish mother! Its beautiful!" The young dolphin gaped in curiosity and awe.

"Do not go near that jellyfish child! Come back here young lady. The jellyfish is.... Harmful."

Swish swosh, the wind blows.

"What is that mommy? That is the ugliest coral I have ever seen!" The small dolphin nudged her mother, pointing at a dark and ugly piece of plastic floating on the sea surface.

"I'm afraid it may not be as friendly as a coral my dear.... Just please, whenever you see them, stay away from them."

The infant seemed curious.

Tick tock, as time goes.

A party of clear plastic bottles roamed the surface of the sea. The young dolphin could no longer hop out of the water and dive back in like before due to the full coverage on the surface.

The youth was debating on whether the strange thing on the surface is harmful until she witnessed a shark boost from the bottom of the ocean right up to the surface, thrusting up into the sky, at the same time scooping up dozens of the things with it's mouth.

Swish swosh, it is a slippery slope.

Bodies piled the ocean, polluting the once pleasant environment with mist in the water and a rotting stench all around. Sea turtles, sea horses, seals, sea lions, sharks, whales, dolphins....

"Mother.... The color pirates took father didn't they...."

The mother said nothing.

Tick tock, the time goes.

The dolphins never went to the surface to enjoy the sunlight, in deep fear that they would also get suffocated like all the other animals who disagreed with the color pirates. The sunlight never reflected off their skin in golden blinding streaks, they never stuck only their fins out of the water and imagine they were cutting the water, and they could never swim freely in their home without fearing the color pirates appearing and taking their lives.

Tick tock, the time goes.

They could never hunt for yummy sardines for they were no where to be found, they could only roam the bottom of the ocean for dead or dying organisms that tasted gross.

Tick tock, the time goes.

"Don't leave me mother!" The infant called out.

Tick tock,

"Please! You're all I have left!"

Tick tock.

"I HATE YOU COLOR PIRATES! I HATE ALL OF YOU!"

Tick tock....

Swish swosh, the water flowed.

Tick tock, our time goes.
