The house

On the night of Halloween, Tai asked Henry, James, Kat, and Mia, her friends, if they wanted  to hang out. They said sure. So, later in the day, Tai's friends went to her house and started playing board games. But later as the day went on, everyone started getting really really bored. Tai's mom gave them $40.00 to spend at Slip Slap Diner, which is where they usually hang out. When Tai and her friends got to Slip Slap Diner, they admired the creepy old house next door. "They say the legend is that Dr. Stine died from a broken heart after his wife died. His soul is still looking for his one lost true love'' said Henry. Then after Henry was done telling the legend, James asked, "What happened to the wife?" "The legend says that she died because she was going to meet someone that her family worked with. Back then the wife's family did a lot of bad things, and those people that they worked with needed the family again. She didn't want to go back to that dark place, so she came up with a plan. I guess that plan failed because they never found her body.  All they found was five million  dollars on the ground along with blood streaks on the wall and ground" .Then everyone started laughing except for Tai.
After Henry  told the story about the house Tai felt a strong feeling to the house. She felt like the house was calling her or whispering in her ear. Later, when they went inside and sat at a table she told her friends what happened and what she felt, but her friends didn't believe her. They thought she was going crazy. She thought she wasn't going crazy. She thought the story was true. Later that afternoon, after  they were all done eating, she dared her friend to come look at the old house with her. Her friends said ''There is no way we are going up there. We might think that story is fake, but that house still gives us all the the creeps''. Tai said, "fine have it your way'' and she started heading up the hill toward the house.
      Tai's friends hesitated not to go up to the house with her. If anything happened to Tai, they would be blamed for it. They started to catch up with Tai. Once they got to the top, they saw Tai staring at the house. They also saw her talking to it like it was talking back to her. They tried to snap her out of it, but she couldn't hear them. After about 10 minutes, she snapped out of it and she said "Why are u guys just sitting there. Come on guys, lets go". After they stood up her friend started telling her that she was talking to the house and that she kept mentioning something about Dr.Stein's wife. Tai got freaked out, but she still went into the house and so did her friends. When they entered the house, Tai, Henry, and James thought it smelled like a dead body but Mia and Kat thought it smelled like musty old mold.
After Tai and her friends got used to the smell, they all started walking towards to the kitchen. When they got to the kitchen, they saw rotting old food, old dishes, rickety chairs, and some shattered glass windows. As Sarah was looking on one side of the kitchen, she found something. That's when Tai told her friends to come over to where she was. Tai showed her friends a ripped note. The note said  "Dear loved ones. Congrats you have found the first part of this letter. In order to find the other pieces you will have to solve three clues. Here is the problem,  as you find the pieces you will start to lose people you love just like I did. To find the next piece, look where no one would ever like to clean. So, they started thinking. Then, Henry thought it would be the bathrooms. Kat said "Well my mom makes me clean the bathroom and let's just say, having 4 brothers is not fun, so Henry could be right."
They started to headed up to the bathroom, and as they got closer to the bathroom, the more it started to smell like strong sewer water. But there was a problem. The problem was the bathroom was too small for all of them to go in. So, Henry and Tai decided to go in and  look for the clues, but they could find any. Henry started thinking about something for a moment.  "What if the note was in the bathtub?" Tai hoped it wasn't because the bathtub was full of this smelly green bubbly stuff. Tai asked Kat to go find any kind of protection for her hand so she can go dig in the green goop. When Kat got back, she had some really old gardening gloves for Tai. Tai gave the gloves to Henry because she just couldn't stand the look and smell of it. So, Henry poot on the gloves  and started searching in the green gloppy goupe. Later, Henry felt a bottle and told everyone that he found it. Henry grabbed the bottle and started opening it, but as soon as he almost opened the bottle, they heard screaming from Kat so they came straight out of the bathroom. They saw that Mia was on the ground with a bubbling rash on her wrist and neck. Tai asked James and Kat what happened but none of them knew except for Henry. Henry told everyone that when they were looking in the kitchen, she found a really pretty pink sparkly perfume bottle and she put it on. I guess it wasn't really perfume. Tai checked Mia's pulse to see if she was alive but she wasn't every one started crying and getting really scared. So, they all decided to leave but Tai had to remind them that they can't leave until they have found all of the missing part of the note.
Henry opened the bottle and started reading the note in his head. Then he told everyone where they needed to look next. The next area was the wife's room and they needed to look for something glamorous.  When they got to the wife's room, they saw a really old dusty bed, makeup, and sparkly jewels. Once again, they started looking, but this time it was something glamorous that they were searching for. 2 hours later everyone still couldn't find anything glamorous. Kat thought about the word glamourous. "Maybe when he meant glamorous, he meant one of her jewels because jewels can be glamorous" she said. So everyone start looking in all of her jewelry boxes and drawers, but they couldn't find anything. While Kat was looking, she caught a glimpse of a huge beautiful crown. "Oh a crown" she said. She grabbed the crown and tried to put it on, but then she sees that there is a string. She started polling the string more and more. For some reason, the string kept going on for a long time. Finally, the string stopped and at the end of the line. There was the other part of the note, but when Kat tried to grab the ripped paper, the floorboard under her just disappeared and she fell through. Her friend turned around and saw only the letter floating in the air and saw the floor shutting. As the floor started shutting, they heard Kat scream get quieter and quieter as she went to who knows where.
Tai grabbed the note before it went underground and handed the paper to James. James started reading the paper to everyone. "Congratulations guys, you have found the third piece. Oh and sorry for your friend, but I had to do it, and it was hilarious. Anyway, in order for you to find the last piece, you need to find my heart from where it all ended". All of them were looking at eachother like they were really confused. "Where it all ended? What's that supposed to mean?" said James. Tai asked Henry to repeat the legend about the house again, but when he did, the story didn't say anything about where he died. That meant they had to look in the areas that they have not checked. In order to search more ground, Tai and Henry went together as a group and James went all alone. Henry and Tai looked around the rest of the house while james looked outside in the back yard. About 27 minutes later Sarah and Max found the gem heart in Dr. Stine's room in a box under his bed. Sense they found the  gem heart they both ran outside to tell James but when they got outside James was gone. They started thinking because it's not a big back yard. Tai told Henry that the the whole back yard is fenced off so how could he just disappear like that "I'm not sure Tai" said Henry. sooner or later, they just gave up on trying to figure out what happened to James. They just opened the glass heart and they both started to read the noted heart out loud, "Well done, you found the very last note, and by the way you think your friend are dead, well there not bring me the heart in the middle of the city at the church and your friend and I will be there waiting for you and the boy.
tai and Henry started to run to  the church in the middle of town to give the gem heart to Dr. Stine. When they got there no one was there and all of the lights were turned off. All the sudden, the lights turned on and James, Kat, and Mia were on the ground looking pale white. It kinda looked like they had no life force in their body. "What did you do to my friend you monster!!!!!!" said Tai. "All I did was poison them the effect will wear off in 5 to 6 hours". So, Henry gave Dr.Stine the gem heart and then he just disappeared just out of the blue and they have no idea where he went or if he'll ever come back. Like Dr. Stine said, 5 hours later, their friends started to wake up, but when they woke up, they had no memory of what happened in the house. All they remember is going to Slip Slap Diner.
