it's late wednesday night and the last thing jimin can deal with is a drunk purple-haired man, in about his twenties, wearing a red velvet suit and tie (an honestly odd combination with his hair but somehow this man made it work), asking for countless white russian cocktails.

jimin has been working all day and frankly, is starting to lose patience. he's been working at this place for only six months and he hasn't gotten used to the drunk ones yet.

???
"are you gonna give me another one or are you gonna give me another one?"

JIMIN
"you've already drank too much, sir. i think that's more than enough."

???
"who are you to tell me what to do?"

JIMIN
"the man who's gonna get you kicked out of here any second now."

???
"well, you're a feisty one, aren't ya?"

the stranger offered his hand for jimin to shake, which the latter simply ignored as he continued to polish the wine glasses.

???
"i'm jeon jeongguk. do you like boys? i like boys. well, not as much as i like girls, but i still like boys. do you wanna sleep together?"

JIMIN
"alright, that's it! you need to go."

the bartender put down the cloth and the two glasses he was holding to press a button under the counter.

JEONGGUK
"wait! no, no, no, no!"

in a flash, two bouncers came to the rescue. and that was the last time jimin ever saw the purple-haired man.

or so he hoped it would be.

on sunday, a sober jeongguk came back, walking into the bar as if he owns it. and purely by chance, jimin is working his shift again.

he didn't notice jeongguk sit by the counter. he never really looks the customers in the eye. he merely prepares the white russian cocktail the man has asked for, not at all finding jeongguk's voice or hands on the table familiar.

JEONGGUK
"that was the first time i've ever been here, you know? and i got kicked out. i usually don't get kicked out on the first night. that was...an experience."

this made jimin look up at the man. jeongguk had changed the color of his hair and he looks a little less insane this time.

JEONGGUK
"it's red velvet. you like it now?"

jimin wondered how jeongguk knew he found the color combination of red velvet and purple odd. it must've been the way he looked at jeongguk before.

JIMIN
"i prefer the purple."

JEONGGUK
"but i have more red velvet clothes."

the customer pouted like a little child.

JIMIN
"why'd you dye it purple then?"

JEONGGUK
"now, it's not."

jimin gave jeongguk an empty look before starting to serve the other customers.

JEONGGUK
"i thought you didn't like the purple."

JIMIN
"what made you think that?"
