First Android

"This is it." jimmi said standing outside the new Cyberlife store in his town. He took a deep breath before entering what, at the moment, seemed like a small building. The cold nipped at his face as he pushed open the doors.

On the inside it was very spacious. Broad paths between all the isle's, a different Android model every few steps. I have heard many things about Android mainely from my roommates Noah and Seth. Some good things some, not so good things.

I roamed looking at all the models, GV200, HK600, then I stumble upon the most delicately designed Android. I read the model it said MI800 I started looking through the different settings to see what she came with. Overall it said things like cooking, cleaning, I guess she is a new maid model. I was mid thought when someone questioned.

"need any help sir?"

I fumbbled over my words feeling kind of worried what they might think a guy like me would want a female Android "Oh, um I was just looking, but yes what can you tell me about this Android?"

She proceeded to tell me all the functions and downloads that this modle had, I only listened what she said something that caught me completely off gaurd

"Um I'm sorry but could you please repeat the last few things you said? "

She perked up " sure thing, she has child care mode, pet care, personal care, and romantic settings."

Now I really felt like she thought I was some creepy sicko. I had to redirect this quick, she mentioned pet care

"So what pets can she take care of, like cats and dogs?"

She went into a long monologue on how I would have to download what animals I needed care for,. But really I was curious about the "romantic" settings. Mainly how in depth they went.

"So, how much for this one?" I asked hoping that she wasn't over three thousand.

"Well that depends do you have a Cyberlife account? If not I can help you set one up. "

Actually I have an account I've had one for a while now, I just didn't know when or even if I should use it. I remember that I set the password as RK800 a model I really like not as much as the MI800 however.

"Yeah actually I do have an account." Hopefully this will give me a decent discount, as of right now I'm working myself into the ground and am struggling a bit because of that.

"Alright I can ring you up at the front." We walk over seeing that I was making a purchase she was less talkative but still really polite.

I gave her my info and she brought over the MI800.

"Ok so what were gonna do is starter up get your name in here system" she said while typing away at a tablet then suddenly the Android smiled at me and it was the first time I heard her speak.

"Hello, I'm a MI800 Android, what would you like me to call you?"

For a moment I was stunned, she was so life like, it almost felt wrong buying her. I answered her trying to be friendly "you can just call me jimmi."

Smiling still she continued "Ok jimmi, would you like to rename or customize me in anyway?"

I hadn't thought about that she needed a name but I couldn't think of anything, not anything good anyway.
"What about.... Mimi?"

"Alright Mimi is a good name" the Android said holding her hands together.

"Can I give you a British accent?" Not gonna lie I've always kind of thought British accents we're cool.

" Of course love." Mimi said in a British accent, my heart nearly burst. Even if she was an Android she is the most adorable one I've seen.

The work brought me back to the world of the living
"Is that all sir?"

"Yes." I say satisfied with having Mimi, she is so small or maybe I'm just tall

"Well sir that's all unless the was something else you needed" she was patient and hopeful I'd spend more money

"No that'll be all thank you we're on our way out, come on Mimi let's go home." As we walk to the door of the building I couldn't help being proud, after all, I had just bought my first Android.
