"Jungkook I need to tell you something. Can you come over for dinner?"

Jungkook panicked - this was it. Jimin is going to break up with him. Jimin was going to tell him Taehyung got back together with him

Jungkook walked, his heart aching, to Jimin's apartment but just as he was about to enter the building he changes his mind , turning around to return back home

He felt sick and nauseous he wasn't ready to let Jimin go. He messaged Jimin he wasn't feeling well as soon as he reached home

15 mins later his thoughts were cut off by a knock on the door. Jimin's eyes widen seeing Jungkook's red eyes

"KooKoo are you okay?" Jimin's concerned filled voice makes Jungkook want to cry - why was Jimin showing affection when he was gonna leave him? His heart couldn't take it anymore

"Jimin.. Please leave.." Jungkook manages to say

"What? Why? I can't leave you like this" Jimin hugs Jungkook before pulling away to wipe his tears

"I can't do this Jimin .."

"What?"

"Us.. I can't do this"

Jimin backs away, eyes tearing up as his voice cracks "W-what?"

"I know I practically forced you to date me..." Jungkook says making Jimin stare at him "...I know you love Taehyung...So i'm finally letting you go"

"Jungkook you got it all wrong..." Jimin tries to say

"No..." Jungkook backs away when Jimin steps closer, the smaller stopping immediately "...It all makes sense. You avoiding me and lying to me about why we couldn't go out...I was going to ask you to be my boyfriend but I couldn't because I didn't know how you feel about me.."

"Kookie " Jimin's expression softens

"Jimin please I wanna be alone.. I can't be around you"

"KooKoo look at me" Jimin says softly but Jungkook ignores him no matter how hard Jimin tries to make the taller face him

"I love you, you stubborn assed idiot!" Jimin yells making Jungkook's eyes widen in surprise

"What?!"

Jimin giggles seeing Jungkook's shocked expression "I love you. I was going to ask you to be my boyfriend tonight but I guess you beat me to it" Jimin smiles as he draws closer to Jungkook "..i'm sorry if you thought something was going on with Taehyung and I. ..It's my fault...I started feeling different about you a few months back and it freaked me out. I couldn't do anything, you were and still is always on my mind .. These feelings were so new to me that I thought I was going crazy, i thought I was losing my mind seeing you, imagining you next to me, even in the shower.." Jimin says blushing "... Taehyung helped me realize that what I was feeling was love.. That I am in love with you. " Jimin smiles brightly "..That made me so happy. So happy to finally be yours but I got so nervous...got so scared when I thought what if you didn't love me back as much..... It took me a while to figure out that you loved me too and was just waiting for me to show some signs of commitment. I'm sorry I figured it out so late.."

Jimin's words were muffled into the kiss that Jungkook pulled him into, Jimin responding to it eagerly "I love you Jimin. "

"I love you too"

"Be my boyfriend" Jungkook caresses the smaller's cheek gently as he looks into Jimin's eyes lovingly

Jimin smiles tip toeing to capture Jungkook's lips with his own "I thought you would never ask"
