Never Ending~

Challenge Accepted

The beach was really crowded. Lots of families doing there thing, I sighed. "you sure, you want to be in this beach ?" I asked Jack. 

"Yea, what could possible go wrong rite ?" He answered while carrying our surfboard. I rolled my eyes with a smile.

"You better find a right spot for me to tan." I told him and trailed behind him. We finally get a spot after 15 minutes looking for it and to be honest, Jack found a pretty good spot. I opened my cardigan, revealing my bikini. I rolled my towel in the sand and I laid on top of it. While waiting for Jack to take the drinks, I opened my phone and saw one text from Andy.

Maddy, I got a date with Nash. Andy<3

I immediately texted her back.

OMG I'm so happy for you, when ? 

I send it and a second later, she replied.

On 32 May. Andy<3

I stared at the phone blankly. Is she being serious right now ?

Andy, there is no such day as 32 May, sorry to break it to you honey, but Nash is a effin' jerk. 

She texted back, 

WHAT THE ACTUAL OMG AND HERE I AM GETTING EXCITED ABOUT IT! smh. Andy<3

Wow yea~ He's a bastard, he's not even worth it, get over him kay ? I'll see you tomorrow, gonna pick you up, bye love, love you. 

Yea okay, awesome, thanks, love you too Madd. Andy<3

I laughed while locking my phone and putting it beside me. Seconds later, Jack came with drink in his hands. "Took you long enough." I complained while taking one coke from his hand. 

"Ugh, yea you're welcome." He muttered, annoyed. I rolled my eyes and started putting sunscreen in my arms, body, and legs. Just when I'm about to put it in the back of my body, I couldn't reach it. 

Dang it, I don't want to be the girl with a weird tan, I'm just gonna ask Jack normally.

"Hey Jack." 

"WHAT ?" 

"Sheesshh, someone's on his period." Jack shook his head.

"What do you want ?" 

"Nevermind, you don't seem like you want to help." I said then started to try my very best to put the sunscreen on my back. Seconds after trying, someone took the sunscreen bottle out of my hand. "HEY !" I yelled. I turned and saw Jack.

"You could just ask you know." I rolled my eyes and showed him the finger, he chuckled. He then put the sunscreen on my back and spread it all over my back. I started to shiver. 

OMG HE JUST FREAKING TOUCH MY BACK

It's maybe weird to think this, but his hand is so big and.... "Maddy." 

"Hmm ?" 

"I've been calling you for 5 times." Jack said.

"Oh sorry, kinda spaced out a lil bit." 

"You sure you weren't fantasizing about me ?" He said. 

"me ? fantasizing ? bout you ? yea right, ew no way." All I said was all a lie. Of course I was fantasizing, I had a crush on him for 2 years now, and it didn't go on and off, it kept going on and on, even when he dated Leigh, I mean I was happy for Leigh, I didn't go jealous, Leigh was an amazing friend and still is. So yea as it all said, I was happy for them until they broke up. I wasn't overjoyed, I was too nice to go overjoyed over Leigh, She was a friend and also one of my closest friend, but not as close as me and Andy, just close. 

"Yea, keep telling yourself that." I rolled my eyes and started tanning, I put on my headphone and listened to the song, 'Cool Kids' by Echosmith. I glanced over Jack and saw him tanning as well with his headphones on. 

After about 30 minutes tanning, I decided to get to the water. I took my surfboard and went to the water. "HEY!" I heard Jack called out. I turned and answered him.

"WHAT ?" I shouted back at him. 

"Wait up!" I just shook my head and continue walking. Then Jack came running to me then he playfully pushed me to the water. 

"Real mature, Jack." I joked. 

"I'm gonna make a bet, whoever gets to ride 3 wave first, can ask the loser whatever she or he wants the loser to do ?" I smirked and nodded. 

"Challenge accepted," I said grinning at myself. "I'm so gonna win this," I whispered to myself. And we both lay in our board and started paddling and waited for the waves. 

Its been freaking 2 and a half hours and so far I got 2 and Jack got 1. Let's just hope Jack isn't a sore loser, ey? By now, we were just waiting for my last wave. Then Jack started to paddle toward the middle. "Jack what are you doing ?" But he ignores me. I rollled my eyes and glanced to our stuff to make sure nobody's there and is not stealing anything. When I turn back to Jack, he was already getting ready for the wave behind him. I smirked, cause I know I'm good at this. 

I started paddling the other way, back to the beach and when the wave was rising, I stood up and stand in victory, I looked over my shoulder. Jack was kind of pissed, but also smiling at the same time. Weird much ?

"So I win right ?" I asked Jack once we got our stuff to the car. 

"For the 12th time, yes Maddy, you win, happy ?" I could tell by his tone, he was mad, he was being a sarcastic butthole with a smile on his face. 

"I'll tell you what I want you to do for me tomorrow kay ?" He nodded. 

"Better not be something dirty, I know you want this, but yanno." 

"Ew, you're just gross, Jack." I playfully hit him, we decided that we could take a long walk in the beach before heading home. "Anyway this whole beach day got me hungry, what's for dinner ?" 

"Oh c'mon it's still 5 and you're hungry already ?" 

"Don't even question my stomach, Jack." I told him. He shook his head and he swung his hand over my shoulder. I started to get butterflies. As we were walking suddenly Jack pulled me, making me facing him. By now we are staring at each other's eyes. His eyes twinkled, sparkled and all that you could about the romantic things guys can do with his eyes. 

I study him for a little while, me scanning him, him scanning me. He put his hand on my waist as I put mines above his shoulders and we just stayed like that, getting lost in each other's eyes. He smiled and trust me it's not like any other smile, his smile was probably the best one. You could ever seen, the best smile award this year goes to Jack Finnegan Gilinsky. I, myself started smiling as a weirdo as well, but mines wasn't as beautiful as his. His eyes reflected my reflection and his face just suddenly lighten up. 

"Maddy?" 

"Yea ?"

Anyway, I just really want to thank you for an almost 1k reads in this book, I didn't know this would actually go that big since this is my first ever writing a fan fiction.
