Critique: This is one of the most gory animes I've ever watched. Lucy, the main character is just plain epic, and the plot is well developed. You can understand the emotions and actions of all of the characters, whether you agree with them or not. However, the content is rather, well, mature. The only problem I had with this anime is that there were too many fillers, and not enough action. In my opinion at least, because I love action packed animes, as you can see from my choice of them.
Recommended?: Yup, but again, the content is mature, not something you want your younger siblings to see. Or if you're twelve or something, I suggest you don't watch it, even though I'm sure some of you already have.
