"Mom? How did you met Dad?" ask my little girl when she sits on the couch next to me.
"Well, it was thirteen years ago during my last year of school... I knew him there but we were from different group of friends. I had a crush on him since the first time I saw him in my classroom" I begin to explain.
- Thirteen years ago -
After the last class of school, me and my friends decide to go at the theme park. We're doing a lot of attractions without being tired. Adrenaline all over our bodies. The only thing wich prevent me from doing an another round of Swing Ride, is the cotton candy. I let my friends continue the attractions during I am searching for some goodies.
I'm searching for a good ten minutes, but I don't find anything except some crepes or waffles. Is there really a theme park without any cotton candy in that world? Please tell me no.
I finally find some and run for it because I need to go back to my friends rapidly. I pay the guy and take my cotton candy. When I turn to return at the Swing Ride, I hit someone and almost fall but the person catch me before.
When our eyes met, sweet shivers run through my back. He's just in front of me, looking at me with a small smile. Thomas, my crush since the beginning of the year. A million thoughts are fighting in my head right now and I can't let a word leave my lips.
"Are you okay? I'm sorry I didn't look before me", he apologizes.
"It's my fault! I didn't pay attention", I retort.
"What are you doing here alone? Beverly? That's it?", he asks me with a really cute smile.
"Yeah that's it. I was with my friends but I let them for a cotton candy", I answer with showing my cotton candie. " And you? What are you doing here... alone?", I ask in return to prolong the conversation.
"I was bored at home so I came here but I don't know what attraction to do", He answers with a small laugh.
"You should really do the Roller-coaster rides! I can come with you if you want." I smile.
"And what about your friends? They will not deny you for being with me?", He jokes and I laugh beause of this stereotype.
"Don't worry for them!", I respond and walk with him to the next attraction.
During the next hours, I did a lot of attractions with him. I discovered him more and that make me love him more. He was so kind, funny and friendly. He walk me home then.
- Back to present -
"That's how it begin, we became friends and it turn out in a love story. My friends didn't liked it at the beginning but finally approved it." I finished.
"Wow, it's so cute", answers my daughter with sparkles in her eyes.
