My Pet Is What

"What would you have"i asked. "A burger with the works and a coke" he said. I walked over to the cook and handed him the slip. "Another one man these people love burgers" he said. I began to laugh and fill the coke. I walked back and handed it to him. "Your order will be out soon" i said. "Thanks" he answered. Walking back to the cashier i rub my neck. It was sore and i was tired. Three weeks i work straight and extra hours. "Lola you need a break" Marla said. I looked at my boss she had some money and was counting out change. "Yeah but you know i need the money once i get 3 thousand bucks i can pay the house off and not worry of being evicted" i said. "Well i added up your total pay and it turns out for all the extra work you made over 5 thousand dollars" she said. My eyes bulge out and my mouth began to water. "I want you to take this check and go and have spring break for vaction your younge dont bust yourself to work" she said. I grab the check looking at it. She wasnt kiding. "Lola order" cook said. "Coming" i said. I walked and grab the order and walked to the guy. Sitting it down i gave him it. I waited till he was done and got his bill. "Here a tip for a pretty lady like you" he said. I gave him a disgusting look. he handed me a hunder and left. Taking my apron off i walked and grab my bag. "By guys" i said. They waved at me as i left. Digging around in my bag i found my keys. After getting in my truck i strarted it up. I decided since we just got out for Spring break that i would pick up waterburger for tonight.

I Drove up to the speacher thingy and waited for someone to answer. "Hello what is your order" she said. "Ahh yes i want the number 1 with mustard and pickles only and a diet Dr. Pepper large" i said. "Is that all" she asked. "Yes" i said. "Your total is 9.78 please drive up" she said. I drove up to the window with a 20 in my hand. "Your total is 9.78" she said. I handed her the 20 and she close the door. I was beating my thumbs against the steering wheel as my phone began to ring. I picked it up and saw that it was my older sister. I snorted and answered it. "What do you want" i said. "Listen we need to use your house for a dinner between some workers" she said. 'Hell no yall kicked me out and disowned me why would i let you use my house" i said. "Listen you smart mouth little brat we fed you and cloth you it the least you can do" she said. 'No and stay out of my life for all i am concern your dead to me" i said. I pressed the red end button and set the phone down. The lady open the window and handed me my food. I grab it and my change. Driving home late at night felt nice and there wasnt no blazing horns or hot sun out. I drove to the neigborhood which i called home. I remember being young and ending up begging for a place being 17 and trying to find a good job and place was hard. Pulling up to my house i got out grabing my things. I fumble with my key and unlocked the door.

Stepping inside i place my bag on the couach and went to the kitchen. Sitting down i open the bag and grab my buger. I ate it and drank as my house filled with a erie silence. I really needed to get a bf to life with or a pet. Then it hit me i should get a pet. After i finish eatting i went to my couach picking up my bag. I went up stairs and began to get undress. I pulled on a night gown and layed in my bed. Sighing i felt relief as i snuggled to it. Tommorow i am going to go to the pet store a little ways from here with my best friend and we are gonna choose me a pet. Also i had to pay my house off and get some things and food for the pet. I wonder what i will choose. Maybe a dog, a hampster, or a cat. I hope i can choose one specail pet that i can love and keep around. I closed my eyes and let sleep take over.
