The Girl Who Never Knew!

Chapter 1 - Normal day turned Strange..

BloomWood High school - Friday:

Anastasia's POV:

We were currently at recess and when I say "we" I mean my boyfriend Jack who I have been dating since the eighth grade and my two best friends, who I loved dearly since kindergarten were Lily and Claire.

We are standing in line ready to get our lunch and sit at our table. The same table that we have been sitting at, since we first came to high school in seventh grade from middle school.

It was a gloomy 19 degrees Friday and it looked like a storm was coming at night. Our cafeteria was thankfully inside the building and not out, so we won't get drenched. In England, it's very normal to expect rain and storms as the country is practically famous for it and well... it was winter. I hated it though.

"Do you reckon a storm will approach?" Said Lily staring at the sky.

"Maybe.. it was raining all day last night." Said Jack stealing one of my chips and gave me a peck on the cheek while I blushed and looked down.

I've been crushing on Jack since middle school as he was a new student in fifth grade and we dated in eighth grade cause I was too shy to confess to him. Until the night before when he came over to my house to tutor me for math, when he said that he had feelings for me and we ending up making out all lesson. It was my first Kiss.

We are now in grade twelve our last year of school year until we graduate on December and was ready to apply to university's like Oxford or Cambridge. I always dream to go to university and study my favorite major which was pursing to become a journalist and also could join a club to pursue my career on becoming a famous actress and taking acting lessons.

I don't know... my family say I dream too much that it is all fantasy even though my GPA is high and exams are perfect, I just feel like they barely care about me and just want me to move out and get out of their sight. Like I wasn't their daughter...

"Anna?" Said Claire waving her hand next to my face, "Are you even listening?"

Until I realized I was daydreaming again.

"Are you alright?"'Said Lily questionably.

"Uh... yeah just thinking of my future careers that's all." I said trying to put a smile on my face.

"Is it your parents again with them wanting to move you out quick?" Whispered Jack and stared straight at me.

"N-no" I lied but Jack knew how bad of a liar I was, "Maybe... yes!"

"Ignore them and pursue what you want to pursue. Remember I am always here with you and will support you with your decisions." Said Jack kissing my forehead while I laid at his shoulder, "I love you Anna!"

"Awww" Said both Lily and Claire fangirling. You see both knew of my massive crush on Jack as soon as he entered the class in fifth grade and how I never stopped talking about him. They shipped us and called us "Janastasia" I don't know, they are weird... but I love them like sisters.

"Honestly Anna, I wish my parents can let me move out but they won't let me till I turn fifty and have stray cats lurking around my room." Said Lily with a pout.

"It's not about the moving situation it's just these days they've been acting very strange like they just wanna get rid of me like... I'm not their daughter at all like I don't share their blood." I said looking down at my chipped nails. Ugh I have to get a manicure tomorrow.
