A walk down a pier

I went for a walk down the pier

it's a long walk down.

My mind is empty,

My senses open.

I could feel the sun on my skin.

I could hear the water gently splash.

The smell of the seaweed hits my nose.

I could see the scenery from all around.

The gorgeous green trees,

The mighty mounding mountains.

The shades of blue from the sky and sea.

All of this is magnificent to me.

Boats are sailing on the water,

Birds are flying in the sky.

The air is filled with children's laughter,

Sharing jokes and treats even after.

I'm near the end of the road,

In front of me is a island with so much to see!

As the sun begins to set

Over Anglesey
