Participants

A month passed and the teachers have decided on the participants for the musical concourse. It's break time and you are at the roof eating with Kyuchan when the speakers turned on. "Annyeonghaseyo, i'm Mr Choi and i'm going to announce the participants for this year's musical concourse. First participant is from school of music in year 3, Yoo Seho. Second participant is from school of music in year 3 as well, Baek Kyungwon. Third participant is from school of music in year 2, Kang Jaeyeop. Fourth participant is from school of music in year 2 as well, Moon Jaehee. Fifth participant is from school of music in year 2 as well, Hwang Jinju. Last participant is from school of music in year 1, Si Mina. These are the participants for this year's concourse. The teacher in charge for this concourse is Mr Shin Joonhyun. Do go to the music department conference room, thank you." The teacher announced and all of you left for the conference room.

Once you reached, you looked around and saw Jinju standing at the left end of the table and you sighed while standing at the other end. "Well.. Looks like everyone is here. Let's start introducing one by one then. The principal told me that it'd be best to get to know or at least meet each other." Joonhyun said and all of you nodded. "Let's start by that end then." He added as he pointed to Jinju and she nodded. "Annyeonghaseyo, i'm Hwang Jinju from year 2, majoring in piano." She introduced herself and everyone looked at her. "Annyeonghaseyo, i'm Kang Jaeyeop from year 2 as well, majoring in cello." He introduced himself and they nodded. "Annyeong, i'm Yoo Seho from year 3, majoring in trumpet." He introduced with a smile and a wave, making making the atmosphere a little better. 'Annyeonghaseyo, same class as Seho, i'm Baek Kyungwon, majoring in flute." He introduced and he smiled a kind and warm smile, making you blushed a little. "U-umm.. i-i'm Si Mina, year 1 and majoring in clarinet." She said and looked down uncomfortably. *Aww.. She's so cute.* You thought as you looked at her and smiled. "I'm Moon Jaehee, year 2 and majoring in violin." You introduced and they looked at each other.

"Well.. As you know, we have alot of participants this year and all of you are picked through your grades and performance." Joonhyun said and all of you nodded. "The concourse this year have been divided into four selections and the participants are ranked for each selections and the winner will be picked based on the ranking. The theme for each selections are different and the theme for this first selection is 'opening up'. Any song is okay but it has to be based on the theme. To sum it all, your interpretation for each themes and the song you chose are important. But.. Important of all is to have fun music and performing." Joonhyun said and all of you nodded. "For this selection, all of you need a pianist accompaniment. Good luck and have fun." Joonhyun said and all of you nodded.

*Perform four times.. What a pain.* You thought and sighed. "Yah Kyuchan-ah, is the offer for being my accompaniment still open?" You asked as you saw him sitting in the cafeteria alone, using his phone and he looked at you. "Of course." He said while putting his thumbs up and smiled, making you smile as well. "We'll get to practice once you find a song that is suitable." He said and you nodded.
