Chapter 3

~Y/n~

I woke up fairly early the next morning. I got dressed in a beautiful white long sleeve shirt and blue skinny jeans (above). I let my hair down today but it took forever to brush it. I had too many big knots in my h/l h/c hair. It was annoying. By the time I got downstairs for breakfast, it was around 8 am. I saw that mom was downstairs. She was the only person besides me who was down. "Good morning sweety." She greeted. "Good morning mom." I greeted back.

She handed me a plate with a waffle and a few fruits on it. "Thank you." I thanked. "Your welcome." She said. I sat at the counter which had chairs to sit there. It wasn't long before Garroth and Vylad came downstairs. I guess Zane like to sleep in a bit. "Hey guys." I greeted. "Hello." They both said in unison. I let out a small giggle at that. They sat beside me (Vylad on your right and Garroth on your left). They also ate their breakfast. "So, Y/n. My friends want to meet you. Do you wanna come to the park to meet them?" Garroth asked.

"Hm? Sure." I answered. "What time?" I asked. "In an hour." He answered. "Alright." I said and finished eating. Me and Garroth were getting ready to leave so I got on my knee length beige boot (above), my f/c winter coat (below), and my f/c hat, scarf and gloves (also below). Me and Garroth started heading to the park. He lead the way since I don't know it. It was super cold and white outside. I'm not a big fan of winter. That's why I make sure to be warm.

When we got to the park, I saw a person with light brown hair and blue eyes and a person with blue hair and blue eyes. Garroth walked up to them and I followed.

~Laurence~

Me and Dante were waiting to meet Garroth's little sister. I just wanna know if she's hot. I also invited Dante. I saw Garroth walking over to us with a pretty girl following him. Is that his sister? Damn she's hot! I noticed Dante staring at her too.

~Y/n~

Why are they staring? Do I have something on my face? Oh no! Did I get syrup from my breakfast on my face!? I made it look like I was scratching my face to see and I couldn't find anything. Maybe I don't have anything on my face? Whatever. Before I realized it, me and Garroth were right in front of the two boys. My scarf was covering part of my face to keep it warm. "Y/n, these are my friends Laurence and Dante." Garroth introduced them. "This is my new sis." Garroth told the boys.

"H-hi. My name is Y/n." I introduced myself nervously. I'm a very shy person. "Hello Y/n." Laurence greeted. "H-he-llo." I stuttered. "It's nice to meet Garroth's new little sis." Said Dante. "I-it's nice to meet my new big brother's friends." I said shyly. "So, wanna tell us about yourself?" Asked Laurence after an awkward silence. "W-well, I like the arts." I said. "Cool. Which is your favorite? Singing? Acting? Drawing?" Dante asked. "Singing." I answered, still shy.

~Garroth~

Where did her confidence go from yesterday? She talked so easily to me and my family. Why does she seem so shy now?

~Y/n~

"Cool. Wanna sing for us?" Asked Laurence. "S-sure." I stuttered. I decided to sing Just Gold {female version} (below). "Wow." Said Dante speechless. Laurence was just staring, shocked at my voice. I was super embarrassed. I don't normally sing in front of people. I sang to my new brothers yesterday because they're part of my new family and will most likely hear me singing anyway. That's also the reason I was so confident talking to them.

A moment later, a black-haired boy came up behind Dante and Laurence. He had blue eyes and had a skull on his black winter coat. "Dante. Time to go home. Mom told me to come get you." Said the boy. "Oh hey Gene." Said Dante. Who?

~Gene (a moment before)~

"Gene. Can you go get your brother from the park? Lunch is almost ready." Said mom. "Yeah sure." I said. What's Dante doing at the park? It's freezing outside. I put on my coat and headed out. I saw Dante next to Laurence and talking to Garroth and some girl. She was kinda short and I could barely see her because Dante and Laurence were blocking my view. I went up to Dante. "Dante. Time to go home. Mom told me to come get you." I said. "Oh hey Gene." Said Dante. Now I was able to see the girl better.

She had beautiful e/c eyes and h/l h/c hair. As I thought, she's pretty short. She is kinda cute though. "Come on Dante." I told Dante. Laurence and Garroth both just gave me a death glare. The girl looked at me, probably wondering who I am. I don't think I've seen her around school so it would make sense if she doesn't know me. Dante followed me as I walked back home. "So who was that girl?" I asked Dante. "Oh that was Garroth's new baby sister." Said Dante. I'm guessing 'baby sister' meant younger sister since she didn't look like a baby.

~Y/n~

The boy, whose name I'm guessing is Gene, and Dante headed off. "Who was that?" I asked. "That was Gene. Dante's brother. Stay away from him." Garroth warned. I tilted my head in confusion which was also clear on my face.

~Laurence~

Y/n was so cute not only is she hot but she has a cute personality too. After Dante left and Garroth warned Y/n of Gene, I checked the time. "I need to head out too. See you guys at school." I said and headed off.

~Y/n~

Laurence headed off and me and Garroth started heading home. "Your friends seemed nice." I said to Garroth as we walked. "Why were you so shy around them?" He asked. He noticed. "Well, I'm not exactly a 'people person'. I'm very shy talking to people I don't really know. It was different with you and your family because you guys are my family now. There wasn't much point in being shy." I answered honestly.
