Of blood, hope and happy ever after-ish

This is my first fanfiction story ever, so I hope you enjoy it. If it's a bit messed up gramarly forgive me english is not my mother language so keep that in mind. I'm not very good at story telling but I hope my storyline wont get you guys too confuised.

The KHR characters belong to their creator, I merely thought of this AU story. If someone has any similar storyline I am sorry I didn't mean to copy their ideas.

In the year 2189 where technology, science and medicine have finally achieved an extraordinary goal! Life extension, which meant that the maximum age limit could reach 200 years of a healthy and active life. Nevertheless, the joy of that achievement did not last because at the mere span of 500 years, a day that will be referred from future generations as the Apocalypse stroke the world. Some say it was planted from the very beginning of the new era, while others say it was punishment for the world's sins, truth be told no-one cared. The aftermath of that dreadful day remained scared in history were devastating. At first, it was a cloud, a mist like veil, that covert the skies all over the globe, calm and un-threatful. And then it hid like no-one expected, the black rain that carried the essence of that weird cloud infecting almost everything with the plague!! It stoke and in its path left families in ruins, as they were torn apart by the virus that surfaced which was selective in the victims that it hid, resulting to a majority of the population to either die instantly or be infected and deemed as diseased.

*A week's time after the beginning of the rain*

(Japan – defence conference)

The attendances of the gathering were anxious that much was obvious because this gathering was not only a react action for the present situation but also a gathering as to make a head count of the loses that came with the rain. Many of the politicians were most alive, which was good, the problem lied with military heads that were at present or most specifically a very important asset that was not present, The Hibari Head clan (as he was called). Now that absence had all members of the conference bussing, military or not because the Hibari were not only high military ranking but were also very important figures of the Japanese government that were very well known and loved by the general population of Japan. They were of same short the foundation of the government and the military as they acted as a go-between of the two. While the conference played out and the dictation of how heavy the loss of the Hibari clan will be, a military informant broke in and announced the most positive news they heard since the realization of their recent loss and the start of this whole nightmare. The messenger said "Sir, sorry for intruding, but we are receiving calls from all from our neighbouring countries and some yakuza requesting to form an alliance with us, Sir".

(China – conference)

The Chineses weren't fearing any better, the headcount was obviously devastating as they lost too many high rankers and they were in a panic mode. In the middle of the conference a commotion was caused outside of the room and when the doors open no-one, no politician and by no means military or any member of the defence department was expecting to see the head of the strongest Triad family to be standing at the front of the intruding group, the legendary Qulin. Never the less what truly shock the conference attendances was his bold speech, which left them frozen still. He exact words were "Good evening gentlemen of the law, as you may have concluded our country is in a very serious situation, there for me and my fellow Triad members have decided to corporate with you in order for all of us to survive. And furthermore, we would like to inform you of a plan we came up with, which is by my calculations the best course of action that we can take together for the greater good", when he finished he had a smile on his face one that reminded you of a fox, with his eyes closed. The whole room was speechless, frozen statues, but as the sock left them and they realized that they left them standing there without a replay, so some-one cough and offered the Triad group members to join them, while saying how they appreciated their goodwill and encouraged them to share their thoughts. After the Triad members took their sits on the empty sits of the lost members of the government, Qulin resumed his speech, still wearing that creepy smile, "It has come to our knowledge that we aren't the only ones in this situation, in fact the whole world is in the same position, therefore we would like to collaborate with the other countries so that we can multiply our surviving chances." The governors seamed thoughtful for a while at least, I mean it was rather obvious that if others faced the same trouble they did, they too will be considering a cooperation, so with a unanimous decision they made the first call to Korea, Hong Kong and Japan.
