My honey-colored eyes keep darting over to the clock in my class' wall . I still had thirty minutes of time left in my Creative Writing class. Don't get me wrong, I love that class, it just gets boring sometimes. This is just one of those times.

I then whipped out my sketchbook from my backpack and began to draw my favorite singer, Ariana Grande. Her music and herself have been an inspiration for me for a while now.

As I began to draw her face features, Mrs. Chastain, my teacher, tapped on my shoulder.

"Destiny, the principal wants to see you in his office. It's important. Also, you will need to bring your stuff," Mrs. Chastain says as she then began to inform the class about a new unit.

I grabbed my things and headed out of class. I wonder what Principal Underwall wants from me? I didn't do anything bad, I don't think. I mean, I do talk a lot in my 6th hour but my art teacher is okay with it. Who knows?

I walk down from the second flight of stairs to the first floor. I had then continued my way to the principal's office.

When I went inside of the principal's office, I spotted two of my friends. Faith Page and Abby Otto. Why were they in here? Specifically, why was Abby? She dropped out.

"You must be Destiny, take a seat real quick. I have exciting news for you three," Mr. Underwall says with a jolly smile as he pats his hand near the direction of an empty seat. I took that as a sign and sat down in that empty seat. Faith and Abby waved friendly to me, as I smiled back to them.

"You guys have been picked to go to a camp in Kansas City. The name of that camp is Camp Deo! There is this huge lake and fun places around there that will be really fun. We want you guys to have a fun break there, since you guys were nominated by your teachers," Underwall announces.

"Well, Principal Underwall, why am I nominated? I dropped out," Abby says with a confused smile. That was my question.

"Your teachers loved you so much in their class that they nominated you to go! Why, is there a problem?" Mr. Underwall asked.

"Um, no, Mr. Underwall. I was just confused about it! I want to go," Abby says with a nod and a cheerful grin. Well I am glad Abby and Faith are going. I do not want to be going by myself.

"Oh, and also every school in Missouri will be in on this as well," Mr. Underwall adds. So there is a chance I could see my friends from college? Yes! That means I might see my friends: Addi, Chance, Jackson, or maybe even Justin!

I smiled to myself and then Faith looks at me and laughs.

"Well since we are about out of time here, I would suggest you all to pack your luggage for Camp Deo when you get home. You will meet up at the front of the school at 8:00 am. Please do not be late, have a great day," Mr. Underwall says with a smile as she ushers us to the door. We then left.

*Time Skip*

I am currently at home packing the necessary things for Camp Deo tomorrow! It was going to be absolutely amazing. If my hunch is right, some kids from my college will be there. If that is the case, it will be a fun trip!

I began to rub my eyes tiredly. It was 10:29 pm and I am extremely exhausted.

I changed into my army green pajamas and went to sleep in my bed, excited for the next day to be in amidst.
