Your POV
You had just finished shopping and were on your way out when you saw him. Tal. He was with Adi, and your heart pounded when you saw him. You missed him so much. Your heart controlled your brain for a minute. You walked over to him, and tapped on his shoulder. He turned and you saw how awful he looked. He looked depressed. His eyes lit up when he saw you though.
Tal-"Y/n?" You smile.
"Hey..."
Tal-"How are you?"
"I don't know. How are you?"
Tal-"Better now..."
"We need to talk..."
Tal-"OK..."
"Adi, do you mind if I take him?"
Adi-"No I don't. I'll see you at home. It was nice seeing you Y/n."
"Nice seeing you too." He pats Tal's shoulder and smiles at him. When Adi is gone Tal turns to you.
"Let's go over to my place. I'm done shopping and I need to get stuff in the fridge." He nods, and follows you to the exit. You walk outside and get to your car. He helps you load stuff into your trunk, and then puts the cart away for you. You get in the drivers seat, and wait for him. When he gets back, he gets in the car, you pull out of the parking lot. The drive home was silent, because you were thinking of what to say to him. When you get to your house, Tal carries most of the groceries inside, while you opened doors. He was trying to help out as much as possible, so he also put away most of the groceries. You thank him and walk to the living room and sit down on the couch. He sits down beside you. "Can I know one thing?"
Tal-"Anything."
"Why did you do it?" He sighs.
Tal-"I don't know… I was drunk, and I wasn't thinking about you... I'm so sorry..." "Were you trying to hurt me? Was that your main goal?"
Tal-"I never wanted to hurt you-"
"Then why did you do it?" Tal-"I don't-"
"Don't just say that you don't know."
Tal-"It was because I was weak! I have regretted it every single second since you left. I know that-"
"Only weak? Tal, you were heartless. You were stupid. Just because you say that you are sorry doesn't make it OK." Tears started to form at the corners of your eyes.
Tal-"I know. In no way is it OK. I broke your heart, and I know that you are still angry-"
"Don't worry Tal, I'm not angry. Not anymore. Just really disappointed. I thought that you were actually faithful. Now I wonder if you have ever cheated on me before, but I just caught you this time." You look away from him and wipe your cheeks.
Tal-"I promise, that was the only time." You nod.
"What did she have that I didn't?"
Tal-"Nothing! You are so much better than her! If I could, I would take back everything." You stand up and walk over to your window. Tears rush down your face. You clear your throat trying to make sure he doesn't know that you are crying. He gets up from the couch and stands behind you.
Tal-"Y/n I'm so sorry. I don't know what to say, or even do. I am so sorry."
"Prove to me that you are sorry. Don't just say that you are. Words are meaningless when someone doesn't fully believe you." He puts his hands on your waist and spins you around. You stare into each other's eyes. You grab him and hug him tightly. He wraps his arms around you and squeezes you closer to him. You bury your head in his chest and cry silently. You had missed him. A lot. He kissed the top of your head. You pull away. Tal-"Sorry, I shouldn't have done that."
"Kiss me." He looks surprised, but smiles happily. He leans down to your lips, and you lean up to meet his. He cups your face in his hands, and tears slide down both of your faces. You pull apart to breath, and you stare into his eyes.
"I missed you so much."
Tal-"I missed you too. I love you so much. I am so sorry that I hurt you." You kiss his lips again.
"Everybody makes mistakes. You owned up to yours, and didn't try to make an excuse. That's why I love you Tal, you never try to blame mistakes on someone or something else. I love you."
Tal-"I can't believe you forgave me. I don't deserve you." You kiss him again. "You deserve better than me." He kisses you.
Tal-"No. I don't deserve you. You are the most amazing person I have ever met. I love you so much." You hug each other tightly, not wanting to let go.
"Babe?"
Tal-"Yeah?"
"I don't want you to leave. Can you stay here tonight?" Tal hugs you closer.
Tal-"Of course I will."
"Thank you."
Tal-"No problem." You guys pull away from each other. You laugh and he looks at you.
"I just remembered that I still have a lot of your clothes from times you spent over here."
Tal-"Good thing you didn't rip them apart or anything." You both laugh.
"I may have been mad, but that is just evil. Your clothes cost so much money."
Tal-"You had every right to do anything. What I did was really-"
"Babe. Stop. Let's not discuss it anymore. It was a mistake. It won't happen again. I forgive you. I love you. I missed you. I just want to order pizza and snuggle." Hr smiles.
Tal-"Sounds like a plan."
