You Keika's POV

Today is Tanmoku Ki's birthday, After everything that happened with Shinryu Shouken I hoped this gift would lighten the mood. Although sneaking around a mansion collecting ingredients and candles for a birthday cake did prove itself difficult, especially when if someone found out Tanmoku Ki could be in a lot of danger. Ok now, where is the butter- "You Keika! Come over here and help me!" a familiar but terrifying voice, Shin Shiyou. "ill come in a sec!" "No! You will come now! You stole my fiance the least you can do is help me win this game!" Shin Shiyou, who I once thought was a goddess is really an addicted gamer who basically makes me play the game for her since I "stole her fiance". I mean the kisses we shared could be considered romantic but hey, they were all for practical reasons even if they made my face flush red. Tanmoku Ki blushed too so it's probably just a symptom of kissing. After a long argument, I decided to hide the ingredients and go to Shin Shiyou's room to help her play, because although she may seem weak shes actually a bodybuilding titan who looks over you like a skyscraper.

"Victory" The computer's deep voice bellowed, After a tug-of-war with Shin Shiyou I eventually left the room it was getting late and I wanted to complete this for Tanmoku Ki. I went to one of the smaller kitchens and locked the doors, "now 2 cups of sugar" when pouring in the mixture I accidentally put more of the bag in the bowl than I needed, "aha" Tanmoku Ki likes sweets so it must be fine. I quickly cooked the cake, iced it and kept the candle in my pocket, I wrapped the cake up like a bento box so no one suspected anything. Now to take it to Tanmoku Ki.

I walked into his room slowly, he was drawing the Soul Binding Circle in his notebook. "Tanmoku Ki what's that?" "the soul binding circle" I nodded "that was used on Shinryu Shouken right?" "yes." "what are you going to do with it now?" "to get rid of spirits without attachments, we don't have that string anymore and the soul binding rings have their limits. Without something to bind you to this earth..."

 Tanmoku Ki said that with a low and desperate voice "Tanmoku Ki..." "You'll turn into an evil spirit." Tanmoku Ki's head bowed. "Tanmoku Ki" I said with a confident tone "I have one, I have one attachment. Tanmoku Ki you are the connection that binds me." His eyes sparkled but he still looked at me with a concern in his eyes. My chest tightened and my face turned red again with our faces close, I jumped back "haha, that's what you wrote in the contract right, anyway I have a gift for you too" Tanmoku Ki looked confused.

"Close your eyes" Tanmoku Ki closed his eyes and I put the cake down. "Tada! I know it's your birthday so I made you a cake, I even have a candle and don't worry no one saw me." Tanmoku Ki's eyes drifted down, his eyes widened and he dropped his pen. "Keika-." Tanmoku Ki went blank for a moment, I decided to scoop up some of the cake and move it to Tanmoku Ki's mouth. When Tanmoku Ki came back he ate the cake off my finger, Tanmkoku Ki's face flushed red and started to sweat with a mouth full of cake he mumbled "it's too sweet, how much sugar did you put in this?!" "haha I thought you liked sweet" "there are limits to everything" I picked up another scoop and lifted it to his mouth with a grin. He jumped back and started to sweat more.

After Tanmoku Ki ate some of the cake I decided to be bold, I mean after all that sweating he must need a spiritual energy boost right "can I have a taste too Tanmoku Ki" "what do you mean, just grab some yourself" Tanmoku Ki looked at me suspiciously "you can touch things yourself now you know" I grinned. I leaned in closer to Tanmoku Ki "Keik-" I swiped down and stole a kiss "sweet" I mumbled between the break in the kiss.

 Tanmoku Ki stood up and I took the chance to push him against the wall. I pinned his hands above his head with my left hand and my right cupped his face. We both broke for air after a long-lasting kiss. "Keika" Tanmoku Ki said with an accidental deep voice. My eyes widened and I went in for another kiss, slowly our kisses became deeper and more serious. Although we both knew we would have to stop it took a while for me to break away. "Keika-" I stopped him before he could speak afraid of what he would say. "I-uh that, that was nothing ok just a birthday kiss alright." Tanmoku Ki dropped his head, I let go of his hands and he fell to the floor. "I-um Tanmoku Ki are you ok" "I'm fine you can go." Tears rushed to my eyes, I ran out in disbelief. You Keika you baka! (Idiot!)

I went on top of the cold roof, as the wind blew through my hair shivers formed all over me, I'm so stupid he was obviously stressed and I decided to barge in and kiss him. Baka! Baka! Baka!
