As soon as the words came out of mouth, looks of confusion and concern filled his face. "We're going to Greendale?" he asked, his voice shaking from concern.

"What's wrong with Greendale? Have you been there before?" I replied, keeping my eyes focused on the road ahead of me. Luke swallowed his spit loudly.

"Yeah, I have. I was there for one night, but I don't remember a lot of it. The next day I woke up and the town just felt eery and unsettling. Like a force of evil had swept the streets. After that I left." Luke explained. I paused for a moment, not knowing what to say at all. Luke had been to Greendale and was spelled by another witch? No wonder mine wasn't as strong and he didn't leave Maryville.

"I'm sure it was nothing. Greendale is kind of creepy. Especially since that rich guy was kidnapped and taken back to Riverdale to be killed." I tried shrugging off the feeling he had from the spell, and changed the subject to something more vulgar. If Luke continued to think too hard into Greendale and the events surrounding it, all the spells cast on him could ware off in an instant and he would remember everything.

"You mean Jason Blossom?" Luke sounded surprised by the mention of the events surround Jason Blossom.

Jason Blossom was the twin of Cheryl Blossom, and previously the Captain of the Riverdale Bulldogs. He was shot in the head by his father, Clifford. The disappearance and death of Jason was so shocking it spread through Riverdale, Greendale, Maryville and all the way through to towns nobody had ever heard of before.

"Yeah, did you know him?"

"No, he was just in all of the papers."

We drove in silence until we finally entered Greendale. The town was much like Maryville. The sky looked gloomy and had a sense of hopelessness as we drove past the local high school, Baxter High. "This place just gives me the creeps." Luke said as he scanned around the town through the car door window. All I could do was give him a reassuring smile.

As we continued to drive down the road, I could hear Luke's heart beating faster and faster thanks to a spell I had cast on myself many years ago to sharpen my hearing. Not only that, but I could sense his anxiety and the energy he was extorting was heavy. To my right, I could see a large building. The outside of it was painted orange and purple with a sign reading 'Cerberus Books'. The windows were full of fake cobwebs, skeletons and witch paraphernalia. Between the sign and the window display, it was very hard to actually determine what it was the store sold.

I pulled over to the side of the road and turned off the ignition. "Do you want to check out the book shop?" I asked. Luke looked at me. He looked worried, almost like he had seen a ghost. His breath was unsteady as he inhaled and exhaled. He pressed his lips together and gave me a quick but uncertain nod as he took his seatbelt off and got out of the truck.

As I got out of the truck, their air felt heavy in my lungs. I sensed a magic in the air. Ahhhh, I thought, it's the Church of Night.

The Church of Night was the main coven in Greendale. A number of families full of powerful witches resided here, among the mortals. The Church of Night was quite similar to our coven, although it did have it's differences such as the Dark Baptism age and the Academy being treated more as a high school, rather than a college.

There were even witches in the Church of Night that had the Blackwood name who were undoubtedly my relatives somewhere down the line, but I had never met any of them.

As I walked to the front of the store, I could feel the magic getting stronger. It was very powerful and belonged to a very powerful witch. I creaked the door open and tripped slightly as the force shocked me. Who did this magic belong to?

I walked further into the shop, the smell of coffee filled my nostrils. It smelt so good. I stopped in my tracks as a young girl stood up off of the ground before me. She was slim and short, around about 5'2. She wore a red coat and had icy white hair, topped off with a black headband. As our eyes met, her eyes widened. "I felt your magic." She said.

"Felt my magic?" I asked.

"Yes. You're very powerful. You must be Gwendoline Blackwood." I stopped breathing for a second. How did she know my name? That's when it hit me.

The magic I felt, the ice-blonde hair. It all made sense. The Church of Night's previous High Priest was none other than Edward Spellman - a warlock notorious for marrying a mortal. "This is Spellman Magic. You're -"

She cocked her smile to the side, giving me a mischievous smirk. " - Sabrina, Sabrina Spellman."

A/N:

Hey guys - sorry for the shorter chapter. I would have liked to have written more, but I had serious writers block and zero motivation this week. What do you all think will happen between Gwendoline and Sabrina? Honestly, their crossover is going to be more involved than I originally anticipated.

Chapter six is now in the works, and will hopefully be uploaded on Wednesday 21st of November, and all chapters after that will be uploaded on a Wednesday too!

Happy reading, and see you in the next Chapter!
