Blaine's POV:
Today I decided to beat Tommy to school because he always gets here so early.
I got here at 6:00, and it is now 6:45 and Tommy just stumbled through the doors. "Hey Tommy!" I yell he looks up and starts walking over. "Why didn't you text me back last night?" I ask. He almost seems to panic and says something came up and swipes his hair over his cheek. He ask if he can stay over for a few days, and when I asked why he seemed to panic, and started to ponder what to say. He tells me that his dad is doing construction on his room so I ask if he needs to get anything and almost screams no.
As the day goes by Tommy kind of keeps to himself, which isn't odd except when he gets picked on by Brock he normally has some quick witted come back. Today he just sat there and let him be a dick. "I'm tired of this!" I snap and walk over to Brock who right now is tormenting poor Tommy.
Thomas' POV:"What's wrong Tommy, no smart-ass remarks today?" Brock snaps, I was about to come up with something when Blaine stormed over and grabbed my wrist, and was about to pull me away, when he saw my bruise. " What the fuck Brock!" Blaine yelled. " YOU HIT HIM!?," "Blaine he didn't-" I tried to defend Brock but Blaine was pissed. He pushed Brock against the lockers, and you could tell Brock was shaken. " How DARE you hi-" "IT WASN'T BROCK!" I yelled, it was enough to get Blaine to shut up, and loud enough to get some students attention "What!" Blaine shot at me, I sunk down almost getting shorter. Blaine must have noticed because his face softened "sorry I didn't mean to yell at you," he whispered as if I was made of glass.
"...My dad," I said almost inaudibly "what?, speak up Thomas' he snapped having no patience. "My dad, he did this, not Brock," I whispered. He just looked at me for what seemed like forever, all of a sudden he said "We'll talk about this when we get to my house." That was enough to send me into a spiral of anxiety. He wants to talk about it?!Blaine's POV:
I watched as my words sunk into Thomas' mind, almost immediately he started to panic. "Dude, calm down. I don't hate you," my words though harsh, seemed to calm him down a bit. "I'll see you after school, okay?" He nodded and walked off to his next class.
Thomas' POV:
The final bell just rang and I'm dreading the conversation I'm about to have with Blaine. I walk out to the parking lot to meet up with him at his car. He's already there waiting by the passengers side. When he sees me he gives a small smile and opens the door for me. The car ride is tense, Blaine is just staring at the road, and looks like he's thinking about what to say. When we get about five minutes away he tells me to go straight up to his room and he'll talk to his parents. We pull into his driveway and I do exactly as he said I ran past his parents and into his room.
Blaine's POV:
As we pulled into the driveway Thomas got his stuff together. When we parked we walked up to the front door and seconds after unlocking it Thomas flew into the house past my parent leaving them with slightly confused looks on their faces. "Sweetie you didn't tell us Thomas was coming over, I would've put out snacks" my mother says with a smile. "He needs to stay here for a while there's stuff going on at his house." I say. "What stuff Blaine?" My father asks worry obvious in his voice. "His dad is abusing him, he's covered in bruises. That's why he rushed past you guys. I told him that he and I were going to talk after school and he freaked out. I think we need to tell his brother and I know exactly who can help with that" I say, I feel bad for spilling his secret, but that doesn't compare to how good I'm going to feel when he gets out of there. "Who exactly is that?" My father asks. "Norma, the store clerk at the convenience store down the street" I say with confidence. "She works the day shift and sees Thomas off to school every morning. She is a close family friend of Tommy." And with that my parents head out to talk with Norma. Now to talk to Thomas.
