Alexandra's P.o.v.

At the desk of assignments I handed in the folder of 95 year old Wallace Stewart, my previous assignment who died of a heart attack. After having it checked over, I made my way into the Room of Rejuvenation to be born again.

It's really just a room to die. You see, when a Naenkrix dies, they're born again and given a new assignment to grow old helping. When they die the process starts again.

When I go into the room, I take a shot to be reborn then leave, sixteen all over again. I go to the file room and go to today's file drawer. I take out the first file and look at it. Liam Wentworth, 16, resides in North Roxbury, Pennsylvania. My assignment starts tomorrow, and today, I make my way there.

When the next day finally comes, I'm standing ready outside of his house for him to come out and make his way to school, and that's exactly what he did. For a split second he seemed to be giving me a surprised look, but I knew he couldn't see me, meaning that would be completely absurd.

Liam's P.o.v.

I woke up early in the morning to the sun rising, letting me know it was time to get up and start the day. Stretching out my arms and legs I sat up, looking around my room before getting up. I grabbed a shirt from the floor to see if it was too gross to wear.

Deciding the dried stains of whatever my lunch was the last time I wore the shirt was too much, I opened my closet and took out a pair of jeans and a random shirt.

After getting fully ready, I walked outside of my house to make my way to prison-I mean high school. When I left the building I was baffled to see a girl with white hair and purple skin outside of my house. Remembering what my Aunt told me years ago about it being rude to stair, I headed to my school, keeping my head down the whole way as now to attract any attention, although it would have to be easier to blend in now with this purple chic here.

Walking into the brick building, I finally lifted my head to avoid running into people as much as I could, however, I was taken my surprise at the sheer number of people who looked.. well.. strange.. almost alien like.. there were some with green skin, and some with yellow, some with blue, red, or even orange, and they all had strange markings on their faces as well. No one else seemed to care about their less than normal appearances, so I decided not to pay too much attention to it.

I began my walk to my first class, trying to avoid talking to anyone if at all possible, which went pretty smoothly. Walking into Ms. Hannon's math class, I saw that some people had these.. weird colored people standing behind them, while some did not. Again, no one else seemed to care, so I decided not to mention it.

Just as some of the other's had done for other teens, the purple girl stood behind me, and made use of her time by staring at me, which I had to admit was kinda freaky. Why isn't anyone else weirded out by this?
