MACKENZIE STARED BLANKLY at her bestfriend sitting in front of her, who was rambling about a topic that didn't happen to click in mackenzies head. This happened nearly everyday, Annie would go on and on about some thing she found exciting, and Kenzie would nod along blankly. However, Annie could never find herself growing used to it.

"And then so I was like— Wait, Mack? Are you even listening to me?" Annie whined in realization.

Kenzie let out a small laugh, "Honest? No, I wasn't." She answered truthfully, causing Annie to let out a frustrated
grunt. "God, Kenzie. You never listen to me!" She cried, "Can you listen to what i have to say for once." Annie pleaded desperately.

Before Kenzie could even answer, Annie started her story all over again.

"Okay well, when Mr.Palomino called me out of class i thought they had found out i took the answer key from that one bitch but nah he just wanted me to give a tour to those two new kids and yeah so i walked in and i was like damn they got some good ass genes mack let me tell you sis the boy was nerdy yet fine as shit i almost gave him a bite but then i remembered i got a whole mans and then i looked at what looks like his twin or some shit and i was like damn she could get it too and then i remembered that i'm straight and so i was like oh so we gettin new kids and palomino was like yeah i need you to show them where they classes are and i was like okay bet lets dip and then, hold on mack i needa breathe real quick." Annie rambled, before stopping to take a breather, which was very much needed.

Mackenzie raised an eyebrow at her friend who was talking at a very rapid pace. "You good?" She laughed, eyeing her friend who was basically hyperventilating.

However, before Annie could even open her mouth, the  loud and sudden sound of the classroom door swinging open interrupted her.

"I'm sorry, I got lost." A dorky looking boy said shyly.

Mackenzie looked at the boy who was standing nervously in front of the class, clearly embarrassed by all the attention  on him.

He had dirty blonde hair that leaned more towards light brown than blonde, rosy cheeks and dark green eyes that were hiding behind a pair of nerdy big glasses, and can't forget his incredible eyebrows. Annie really wasn't lying, he was cute.

Annie nudged her slightly, "Thats him, Kenz."

The teacher smiled at him softly, "Oh! Johnny, right?" She asked as he nodded, still feeling under pressure from all the attention on him. "Okay, It's nice to meet you. You can take a seat anywhere, we don't have seating chart in here." She smiled kindly, looking back at to her computer.

Kenzie watched as his eyes wandered around the classroom, trying to find an open seat.

Annie smiled, "Five dollars he's gonna sit with Hayden."

Mackenzie snorted, "Who would willingly sit by Hayden? You're dating him and not even you are sitting with him . . Five dollars he's sitting with us." She smirked.

"What makes you think he'd sit with us-"

"May I sit here?" The innocent looking boy interrupted. Annie smiled and nodded, while Mackenzie let out a sarcastic laugh, confusing Johnny a bit.

"Pay up, bitch."
