Chapter 6

It felt like a dream. A dream came true to be with my stepbrother. Hanging out with him and loving me like a real brother.

My phone light up, showing Jungkook's name and the time. It's six in the morning.

Kookie 🍪: Hey sorry I didn't try to respond to your message. I felt guilty inside me. Sorry, I didn't give your gift yesterday, I left it at home. I hope you're doing okay, I miss you. Not like that boyfriend way lol. You're like a little sister. Sorry again.

Me: It's okay Kookie. I told you, you don't have to give me anything. I miss you too. Can't wait to see you in school again. Promise me one thing.

Kookie 🍪: What is it?

Me: Promise to be there for me always if there anything happened to me.

Kookie 🍪: I promise 🤞

Me: Thank you Jungkook ♡

Kookie 🍪: No problem, get some sleep more. I'm heading to a store with my brother that's why I texted you.

Me: Okay I'll get some sleep. Have fun with your brother!

Kookie 🍪: Thanks Hwa-young, see you in class this morning.

Me: See you. Bye!

Kookie 🍪: Bye!

I put my phone away and see sleeping handsome on the couch. He looks so cute when he's sleeping. I have to stop.

I can't sleep. I turned on the TV and put on the show called While You Were Sleeping. I finished one episode and walk upstairs to get my uniform on.

Jimin texted me if Taehyung and I can hang out at his house. I feel an arm around my waist. Taehyung lay his head on my shoulder. He grabbed my phone and texted Jimin, we'll come over at his house. Tae places a kiss on my cheek. Does he miss Kwang or something else? He acts so romantically. Why do I like it?

"Good morning princess," he smiles, doesn't let go of me. "What do you want for breakfast?"

I shrugged. I really don't know. It's only seven in the morning and our parents aren't awake.

"I'll make sunny side up eggs for you. You want that or something else?" I nod. "Okay, just sit there, wait, and look beautiful."

"Thank you Taehyung," I said smiling, turning red and hiding my face.

I hear his footsteps walking forward to me. His warm hand touch my chin and lift up. "Don't hide, you're cute." He smiles, I can't but blush. "You're so cute." He giggles.

He cooked, made toast and cut some strawberries for us. My favorite fruit. He held a strawberry and place it in my mouth. We finished and he cleaned the dishes. I grab my bag and we headed to his car.

After school ends, I was by my locker. Kookie appear while I was packing up. He was wondering if I'm going to Jimin's house with Tae to study.

"Yeah I'm going," I said, closing the metal locker. "Are you?"

There was a small silence between us. His hand touches his head. "I'm grounded," he said with a frown. "Sorry. I can come over next time. Be good." I nod.

"I know Jungkook-ah. Next time don't be grounded again. You know I can help you."

Jungkook shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe Taehyung will get jealous."

I raise my brow. "Jealous?"

"When you always hang out with me. I think he wants to be with you more like hanging out in the amusement park or something like that." He checked his phone. "I have to go or mother will yell at me. See ya Hwa-Young!" He waved.
