"Oh my god. What do I do?" She asked, pacing across her room. She shuffled her feet along the red carpet.
She rubbed her hands through her hair, making it messy. "Maybe they left a note?"
She walked slowly back to the little box, peering inside. She saw a small, wrinkled piece of paper and picked it up, reading over it.
"I'm sorry I had to leave my child at your house. I just can't raise a baby. His name is Virgo. He is 4 months old. Please. Take care of him as your own."
The note was left anonymous, and the handwriting was nothing like shed ever seen. She bent over, and picked up the boy. He had little black curls on top of his head. His chubby cheeks were to die for. Virgo was adorable. Simple as that.
She smiled and rested his head on her shoulder, bouncing him lightly. The baby soon was asleep. She walked out into the living room carefully, as to not wake Virgo. She looked around for her mother, who was nowhere to be found. "Hm"
She held the baby tighter as she looked around for a pen and paper, writing a note for her mother.
"Mom, I went to the store to pick up a couple of things. I won't be long."
She then signed her name at the bottom and left, shutting the door quietly and walking to the nearest walmart.
Virgo started moving around once they entered WalMart. He was awake, and very lively. She placed him in a cart, which already had a pre built baby carrier. She buckled him up and began to walk towards the baby section.
Yes, she would raise it as her own, even if her mother didn't like it. Shed have to balence school and work. Maybe even have to quit both.
She looked around for a car-seat that would fit in her car. She found the perfect one- a baby blue with black edging. It seemed good enough, and it was the right size. She tossed it in the cart, heading down towards the food aisle.
She grabbed little boxes of baby formula, mashed foods, and baby oatmeal. Virgo would need bath soap. He'd also need a crib, and bottles. So, she picked those out too. She headed to the toys when she saw someone who looked very familiar.
It was a woman with curly black hair, green eyes, pale skin, and a lean figure. She looked exactly like Virgo. But not just like Virgo, she also looked like your ex-best friend, June.
She marched right over to June, and tapped on her shoulder. "So I see you're slutting around hm?" She asked, once June was facing her. She pointed to Virgo. "You gave up your son. Well, he's mine now. And you are never getting him back." June started to snicker, her tall figure bouncing slightly.
"Why would I want him back? I won't be known as the teen mother. You will." With that, June walked away, her hips swaying.
"Its okay, Virgo." she whispered, walkingb back to the baby aisle, grabbing diapers and wipes, and toys.
She checked out, then leaving everything but the carseat at the store until sifted could pick it up with her car. She put Virgo in the seat, lifted the handle, and carried him home. She went inside, but her mother wasn't home, so she left again, this time in her car, with Virgo strapped safely in his seat.
