Summary:

In a world where love is supposed to be perfect, every person is born with a soulmate who is located somewhere in the world. It’s everyone’s only mission in life to find their soulmate before they die. It’s a well-known fact that your eyes will glow a crimson shade of red when your soulmate is near or touching you and you’ll just feel it in your heart when you find them for the first time.

Seventeen-year-old Remi is beginning to give up on her search, seeing the majority of her friends already with their soulmates and leaving her behind. Not once has Remi ever felt her eyes glow or felt anything in her heart. After she meets a boy named Lucas at a party with her sister, Remi begins to develop feelings for him despite the lack of feeling in her heart or a glow in her eyes. The feeling is mutual, but having an intimate relationship with someone other than your selected soulmate is extremely prohibited.
