"What's her name again?"

"Saylor. She should be here any minute"

"Like on a ship?" I looked at my best friend and she narrowed her eyes.

"Like Taylor, but with an S. Harry, if you're going to be annoying, go home. We've been waiting for this concert for 4 months"

"How am I being annoying? No one even knows this band anyways" I was trying to figure out why I let her drag me to this concert in the first place. I could of saved twenty bucks and binged watched the last season of American Horror Story on Netflix.

"We know this band. As in Saylor and I. You are the only one that listens to shit music"

"It's not shit. I just like variety"

"It's shit variety" She turned batting her eyes at the bartender.

"Can I have a sex on the beach?"

I snorted a laugh waiting for her to be dismissed. I had attempted to use my fake at this bar plenty of times. The asshole behind the counter never believed it.

"Can I have an ID?" He crossed his arms.

"Oh who ID's anymore? That's such a 90s thing to do" she leaned across the bar giving him that winning Hannah smile.

"Actually it's such a responsible thing to do. Show me an ID or get away from my bar"

"Don't be a dick. I'm a customer, besides I left it in the car"

"So option number two then, I assume?"

"Don't assume. It makes you an ass. Come on Harry" She tugged my arm towards the other side of the crowded club.

"I'm pretty sure the phrase is you make and ass out of you and me" I teased.

"Not tonight. He was just making one out of himself." She looked around before pausing and I followed her gaze to a tall blonde guy. "Hold on"

"Hannah, where are you going? Don't leave me here. what if your friend shows up?"

She waved me off approaching the male. I'm sure I looked like a douche standing alone at this fan girl invested venue, but I didn't know anyone else. After a few minutes passed and several laughs were shared between the two he walked away and she was next to me again.

"Well?" I raised my brow.

"Don't worry about it"

"Seriously Hannah. I didn't come here to watch you throw yourself at random guys"

"He's getting us a couple of drinks. Do you need a smoke break? You're a bit high strung and you're killing my buzz"

"I do, but you also haven't even had a drink yet so there is no buzz to kill. I'll be back" I walked through the entrance way and stepped into the chilly December air. Pulling the carton out I placed the cigarette between my lips and cupped the end as I lit it. It didn't take much for me to relax and I leaned against the brick building. Holding my jacket a little tighter.

"Hey man can I bum one?" I glanced to my left and the short bald man looked like he hadn't seen a shower in years. If giving him one of my cigarettes made him go away that's what I would do.

I pulled one out and handed it to him.

"You got a light, kid?"

This asshole was needy and pissing me off. I took another drag and reached in my pocket, holding up my lighter.

"Thanks man"

He finally walked away and I focused on finishing my own cigarette. There were a few people in the parking lot laughing and being the typical obnoxiously loud college kids. I watched them for only a moment until I saw a girl approaching. I only caught a glimpse of her face before she rushed past me and into the building.
