You lie awake at night,
wondering when the voices will stop.
They haunt you at every waking hour,
you can't catch a break.
3:00 AM comes and they're still talking,
you turn the music up hoping it will drown 'em out.
Finally sleep over takes you,
but then the nightmares come.
Everything is dark, you hear someone,
it's the voices again.
You scream so you don't hear them,
but they become louder.
You hear every word they say,
"you're worthless, pathetic, just end it"
but what if one day you give into them.
It'd be the end, they won.
Suddenly you're awake and weak,
you give in, it's the end.
They Won.
