Ashley's Point of View
I watch the whole breakup. Zac ran out and Emma ran into the bathroom. "Have fun crying, loser." I yell after her. Emma came out. "Ashley, I don't know what the hell your problem is, but whatever it is, I. Don't. Fucking. Care."
"Oh but you do," I say, "Your boyfriend--oops, I mean ex-boyfriend--was cheating on you. With me."
Emma's Point of View
That's all I could fucking take. When she said that I ran over to Channing's dorm and knocked on the door. I knew Channing pretty well, we were best friends before he started to date Ashley. Channing answered the door, he has a dorm all to himself since his dorm buddy is working on a movie.
"Em, what is it?" He asks. I tell him the whole thing. About Zac cheating on me with Ashley and him breaking up with me. He looks at me then pulls out his phone, texts someone something, and then looks back at me. We hear screaming. It sounds like Ashley. "I just broke up with her," he said, "I love you. I have since fifth grade. I always will."
I looked at him, his eyes are amazing. I remember the first day we talked, all of the memories we had. "I love you too, Channing."
And with that, he leaned in to kiss me.
Anna's Point of View
Zac's smoking and Ashley's screaming. I'm walking around with Taylor and she's filling me in on the latest gossip. Apparently Zac's smoking because he broke up with Emma and Ashley's screaming because Channing broke up with her. This can't be good. I wonder if Emma knows.
Emma just texted us to meet her at Taylor's dorm.
"Channing and I just had sex," she says.
Taylor and I look at each other and mouth "sex?"
I ask Emma, "Since when do you know how to have sex?" Emma glares at me and I smile. "Emma, we love you, but you can't become a slut. And trust me, anger sex is not the way to go. Especially not after a break up."
Taylor steps in, "Yeah, Emma sex is bad."
Emma looks at both of us and stands up. "If you don't approve of my choices in life, you must not be my best friends. I love you two, but don't tell me what to do."
Taylor and I look at each other and I know we're thinking the same thing, "Emma, if your going to take out all of your anger on Channing, fine, it's not our problem. But one day, everyone will find out what you're doing and think you're as slutty as Ashley and her friends."
Emma looks at us in disgust and starts backing up towards the door. "You guys suck," she says, and with that, she runs out the door.
