Her Past

One cold rainy evening, a loud cry of a child echoed inside the Delivery Room of Mondragon Hospital, as the mother held her baby, she cried out of happiness, knowing that she is holding the jewel of the family. The father of the child went out of the delivery room to tell their family that his wife had a safe delivery to their healthy new born daughter.

"She had a safe delivery!"

He cheerfully announced as his father hugged him, congratulating him.

"Papa, whom does she looks like?"

A young boy asked, which happens to be his oldest son.

"Hmm, she looks like your mother. Later, you'll see her at the VIP Room once they settled everything."

He said to his son, while patting his head.

"Okay Pa. I'll just wait here with Lolo."

"Kuya Max! Where are you going?" A twelve-year-old girl asked his older brother.

"I will go to Papa and Mama at the Head Quarteerss. Stay here with our little brother. You are already a big girl Wren, take care and look out for him, okay?" he said while pinching her cheeks.

"Hmm okay Kuya. Take care always, drive safe." She said as she waved goodbye to his kuya.

"Let's go and play inside Theo."

"Okay po Ate Wren."

But just before they have set their foot in their house - - -

*BOOOOOOM*

They saw and heard a loud explosion from the exact place where they were standing earlier, so they rapidly went inside. Their maids went to their quarters to get their weapons because they were trained assassins that were meant to protect the children in this kind of scenario.

"Theo, come on, hurryy! Let's go inside our parent's room"

And with that, they run upstairs towards their parent's room. Their mother said that if one day they'll come to this circumstances, they should push the red button at the side of their bed for the door to be locked by a door sized metal that cannot be penetrated by normal weapon

"Theo, go inside our parent's walk-in closet. I will go get some things."

The little boy went inside, a little bit confused of what was happening. Wren opened the drawer of the bed side table and got two Pistol and a katana under their bed. She knew it all because her mother told her about it.

"Theo, whatever happens, do not come out of this room. Got it? Here, call mom and dad. I will help our maids downstairs. Okay?"

"Ate, im scared. Don't go. Don't leave me please."

"Hey, dont cry. I will not die, I promise. Okay?"

"Yes ate." He said, still crying while dialling their parent's number.

Wren went to the connecting door towards her room and locked it just the way their parent's door locked so that Theo will be safe. She then slowly opened her main door and the only sound that can be heard are gunshots and explosions.

'Shit. This is a fucking mess'

She mumbled as she peeked from her door, she counted the enemies up to 20 and there were 8 maids were left. She positioned herself for an attack then she went out of her room. She got the attention of half of their enemies.

*bang bang bang*

The bloodlust between Wren and her enemies can be felt through the loud gunshots all over the place. And even before an enemy reach her, she immediately shot it.

Before that person even reach the ground she grabs it and made it as a human shield, she shot her gun towards two people running upstairs approaching her without fail, as if she was always ready for this.

Her guns reached its peak so she used the katana hanging on her shoulder to kill the enemies, and after she strike the last enemy, she felt something warm fluid flowing from her belly which led her to lose her balance. She thought that the enemies are gone, but that was just only the beginning.

She crawled her way towards her room but before she can move a single bit, someone pushed her down.

"Shit."

"Oh what do we have here? The Unica Hija of the Mondragon Family!"

"Who are you?"

"Oh, me? I am your family's great enemy. YiieEeh."

'f*ckng psycho' Wren thought.

"I repeat, who the hell are you?"

"Ooh Feisty! What should I expect?"

The man said while pressing Wren more to the ground, but then, she slashed his right leg using a knife lying on the ground.

"Fuck! So you can still fight, you little btch?"

The man said while holding his leg in pain. Wren stood up and got the gun that the man was holding earlier.

"One fun fact that my mother told me is that if a person does not answer well to the question, they should be punished well too."

She pointed the gun towards the head of the man and jumped unto his wounded leg.

"Ahhhh! It fcking hurt btch!"

"Sht. You're so fucking noisy!"

*BAAANG*

She lost her patience that is why she shot the head of the man and a few moments later, she passed out.

Her parents and her older brother were already home minutes ago but they did not notice that scene because they were fighting with the other enemies at the first floor of their house. Soon after they finished all the enemies, they went to their children, Wren Astrid and Theo Augustus.

"So it was Ken. Poor Ken, because of his insecurities, he was killed by my daughter. Let's bring her to the hospital." Her father said and they left.
