RECAP:

"Boooooo! Studying is lame.."

"Yeah? So is not getting into college.."

"Hey! What do you think I am? An idiot?!"

"Yes! Hehehe!"I playfully struck my tongue out and ran towards the school library.

Just as I was about to enter, I saw two familiar people enter the principal's office.

"Mr and Mrs. Pines?"

***

I peeked at the Principal's door. Ford was there, looking like he was about to poop his pants. He sat there, both his parents sitting either side of him. The principal talked at a fast pace though. He wasn't really enthusiastic about talking to his students, even his staff.

The principal slammed something on his office table and that made Stanford stand up to look and see it more clearly.

After that, I can't see a thing anymore, so I decided to stick my ear near the door.

Luckily, Miss Penelope was on her "break" so she wouldn't be seeing me being creepy and stalky here.

"It's the best School in the west-the best of the best. Ford can get a scolarship there fast as long as he passes their Standards..."

"Now I'm Impressed"Mr. Pines said with a Genuine smile on his Face.

"But what happens to our Stanley?"Mrs. Pines said with a concerned Face.

"Well, atleast you got one son to stay with you until you age. He's lucky that he's even passing High School. With your other son in the Spotlight, you got another one with you. If he gets even luckier, he can get a job..probably as a Janitor or such here. For now, you can think about Stanford's future"

I removed my ear from the door, walking towards the library.

Ford's moving away?

My blood felt cold, like a bucket of ice just got spilled on me. He wants to move away from us; from Stan, from me....

"Woah..somebody's becoming a little rebellious!"

I turned to look at Stan, seeing me spying at the principal's office door.

"Stan! what are you- never mind. You would never believe what I just heard in there.."I said in a cough voice.

"Hey there! Take it easy, You okay?"he came to my aid and held my shoulders.

I did my continuous coughing and then the waterworks broke. Stan was now scared. He didn't like girls who cried, because he didn't know how to handle with them. He tried comforting me with jokes that he thinks would make me laugh.

"Uh uh...hey! You're eyes are shining brighter even with those tears of yours, they look like diamonds...that's just been polished...get it? Hehe...'cause you're....uh..."

His awkward jokes made me think about the times me, Stan and Ford hung out together during our childhood days. I wouldn't get to hear and listen to Ford's laughter ever again. After we graduate from highschool ,I'll never see him again and he might get a new girlfriend by then.

"Oh geez ______, why are you crying even harder? You know I hate girls who cry...cause I don't know if it's my fault"Stan stood there all awkward, no clue of what to do next. I still stood there crying as we walked away towards the principal's office.
