Summer ended so quickly, it was almost as if it never happened. Luna left for college and acacia was devastated. She didn't really show it, but she would cry to herself from time to time. She was sad that she wouldn't be able to see her all the time. She knew Luna would come home during thanksgiving and Christmas, but it was just too long for her.

After spending a lot of time with her friends during the summer, it occurred to her that she would no longer see them everyday either like she used to. It didn't really bother her that much, but it still made her a little sad, considering her best friend Jane was kinda being MIA. Jane would text Acacia and rashel, but she, for some reason, didn't want to hang out as much as the other two wanted to. She was concerned about her.

Once college came around, Acacia started to hated every second of it. She did make a friend, Paola, but she just hated her classes and everything else that was school related. Not only that, but she had a thing with a guy, a little older than her, that goes to her college and it did not end very well. During school she realized she didn't like him for reasons she was too embarrassed to explain. Everything with that was just all bad.

Everyday after school, her mom would ask how school went. All she would say was 'fine'. Her mom knew she hated it, but she couldn't complain anymore since her mom got upset when she did. She told Acacia that if she kept complaining, she wouldn't let her go out with her friends anymore. It sounded stupid, but going out with her friends is important to her, since she doesn't see them all the time. Now she just doesn't complain anymore.

PRESENT DAY

"Acacia, why haven't you registered for second semester?" Acacia's mom had been telling her and telling her to register for next semester. It's the beginning of November, which is the time to do so. The only problem was, Acacia just didn't finish yet, even though she knew she has a deadline.

"I don't know mom! I will do it later."

"You've been saying that this past week! You need to do it now, or else you're not going out anymore. Do you want to have to pay back your financial aid?"

It's not that Acacia didn't want to register, or have to pay back her financial aid she received, she just didn't have the urge to do it. Yea she didn't want to go to school, but she also knew she had no other choice. She has other reasons, but she just wasn't ready to tell anyone about it. It wasn't too huge or anything, it's just something really personal.

"Mom I don't, okay. I will register later today." Acacia says. She didn't want to fight with her mom anymore so she just decided to get it over with.

"Alright I'm holding you to it." Her mom replied.

Acacia went into her room after her confrontation with her mom. She had been feeling so down lately. She knew why, but she didn't want to tell anybody what she was going through. She knew that if she told anyone what was happening, they would be so disappointed and angry.

When she got into her room, she put her headphones in and started listening to music. She couldn't help but start crying.

What will they think when they find out what has been going on? She thought. She was just over everything. She needed to get out of the house.

Acacia got on her phone and started calling her friend rashel to make plans. It was Saturday, so she knew she'd be home, and not at school in her dorm.

"Hello?" Rashel answered.

"Hey do you want to go out to the mall today? I need to get out the house, and fast."

"Say no more. I'm on my way." Rashel hung up and started getting ready. Acacia had always told Rashel what she was going through, and rashel was always there to help. She would tell Jane too, just because she loved telling her everything since she believes that they are the bestest of friends, but sometimes she already knew what Jane would say, so she felt no need to tell her. It's not that Jane would never help, she just had her own advice about it, and Acacia wasn't ready to do what she tells her. Not that she had to, but she really wanted to try and take her advice, just not yet.
