Chapter 14: My love

Y/n's POV

I watch George socalize with others as i drink wine. I see Charlotte grab his arm and look at me smirking. I flip her off and take another sip of wine. She gasps and turns around to flirt with George. She pissed me off, now she pays.

I get up and take George's other arm and kisses his cheek looking at Charlotte the whole time. Her sour expression gave me satisfaction.

George was so innocent he didn't clearly know what was going on.

I smile and look up at him.

"George, love, how are you doing?"

He leaned in and whispers to me.

"Y/n, what in the heavenly shit are you doing?"

I smirked."Just keeping Charlotte at an arms lenghth, my dear."

He sighed at my pettieness.

I may have seemed to be joking around to piss off a bioch, but i really did like being this close to George. I walked him away from Charlotte and took him out to the balcony for some fresh air. The balcony brought back many memories. Memories of my beloved Lee, how he proposed. It was a happy day.

"It was a night just like this that Lee proposed to me, George. He got down on one knee and proposed." I smiled as i recalled all the pain and loss.

George put an arm around me"Y/n..." he tilted my head towards him. "I want you to give me a chance. Please." I felt my eyes tear up. I smiled and nodded.

"Ok Georgy. I'll give you a chance."

He kissed me and i kissed back, mealting into it.

It's been a month since i gave George a chance to court me. I've grown to love him deeply. I plan to tell him tonight, so we can finally be together.

That evening we eat dinner to together and then spend time by the koi pond. I could see the full moon's reflection in the pond. This is the perfect place to tell him. To spill out my feeling. I feel him take my hand.

George had a nervous yet serious look on his face.

"Y/n, you are my closest, dearest friend and my first love. I want to show you all the love you have shown me." He gets down on one knee and i tear up"Y/n l/n, will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

I jumped on him, wrapping my arms and legs around him. He stands up and hugs me close.

"I DOOOO~ I DO I DO I DOOO!!"

He laughs and smiles and we cry together. That night i cuddled close to him. There was no space between us, but it still wan't close enough.

I wake up next to George. He sits up and kisses my head.

"Good morning, my love."

I tackle him and lay on him.

"Good morning, Georgy~"

"I have a surprise for us tonight."

I smile"i can't wait."

I walk into the bedroom after a long day of wedding planning. I see rose petals leading to the bathroom. You smile and follow them to find a seductive looking Geoge in the bathtub.

He looks at you.

"I've been waiting, my love." He wiggles his eyebrows.

I giggle"I hope not too long."

I join him in the bathtub, i lay back on his chest and relax.

"Y/n?"

"Mhm?"

"Have you ever thought of children?"

I blushed."yes it's crossed my mind."

"I want to start a family,y/n. I want kids of my own. An heir to the throne."

"I guess we better get to work then~" i get out of the bath and put on a robe. I motion for him to follow.

I sit up after an amazing night spent with George. It was much better while i was sober. I feel George kiss my sholder.
