School was dreadful. I was tired and very irritable. My best friend elijah kept teasing me about how I looked like a walking zombie.

I didn't even care to come back with a comeback I honestly just said fuck it.

"So V when you gonna get a girlfriend" Elijah says. I look at him making a face. Elijah has bright Green eyes blonde curly hair and little freckles around his nose. he was thin but kind of muscular. Kind of weird to say since he has such a baby face.

If I weren't into girls I'd totally date him.

"I'm actually talking to someone right now" I say smiling biting my lip thinking about Stevie.

She was perfect. A little to perfect.

"Oh really who" He ask smirking.

I blush looking down. "It's not Nirvana." I say. Nirvana was a senior I had a crush on since forever. I had a crush on her since I started high school.

To my luck she wasn't gay. She had a boyfriend named Justin, but I'm pretty sure she's curious underneath.

"Then who is it?"

"Oh um she's kind of older" I say looking at Elijah nervously. He was protective of me and I appreciate that a lot.

"How much older?"

"She's Twenty-Six" I say looking anywhere, but him.

"What the hell!?! You're only 17!"

"Turning 18 I am practically close to 20...I like her a lot she's sweet trust me Eli...If she slips up once I'll tell you right away" I say smiling at him.

"Okay fine, but if she does anything you don't like you call me and ill have my sister beat her ass?"

"I promise" I laugh kissing his cheek. Hearing a honk. I turn around seeing Stevie waving at me leaning against her car.

"Got to go Elijah" I say running to Stevie.

"Hi beautiful" She says kissing my forehead.

"Hi I missed you" I blush.

"Oh really" she chuckled kissing my nose. "Well I missed you too" she smiles at me.

"Where are we going" I ask as she opened my car door.

I get in saying thank you buckling up. She went around the car getting in looking at me speaking.

"Anywhere you want to go babe?" I smile kissing her cheek.

"I really want some McDonald's" I laugh seeing her shake her head driving.

"McDonalds it is" She says.

Once we get there we ordered a lot of chicken nuggets and fries sitting in the restaurant talking about absolutely nothing. Just random things.

"Can I kiss you?" She asked making me giggle at how blunt she was.

"Why do you wanna kiss me so bad" I ask.

"Who wouldn't? You're beautiful and I like you"

I blush at her words. "I like you too and yes you can kiss me" I say, but I was nervous I have never been kissed.

She smiled at me leaning in. I close my eyes nervous waiting for her soft pink lips to connect with mine.

Her lips brushed mines and once she was finally about to kiss me.

My phone rang.

Fuck my life.

I jump back blushing embarrassed.

"I-I'm sorry uh I have to take this" I say fumbling over words answering my phone.

"H-hello?"

"Veronica where are you? You were supposed to be home an hour ago! You have choir practice. You better be at the church once I get there" My mother said through the phone making me roll my eyes.

"Okay mom I'm coming" I hung up sighing looking at Stevie.

"I-I have to go m-my mom will chew my head off if I miss church choir" I pout looking at her.

"It's okay lovely. How about another adventure tonight 11?"

I smiled nodding mym head. "I would love that."

"Good come on let's get you to your choir thing" She laughs grabbing my hand taking me to the car.

We got into the car and she held my hand the whole time kissing my knuckles.

She is so sweet.

"Here you are princess" She says parking in front of the church.

"Thank you Stevie....See you tonight Yeah?" I smile at her.

"Sure will beautiful" She says leaning over kissing my cheek.

I giggle kissing her cheek back getting out the car, Walking inside the church dreading this choir practice.
