As the lights turn I see there's another animal in the cage. And it was no chimp. But an elephant. It was a baby elephant missing a half an ear. I felt bad even though I'm a baby I understand some because of the chaos in my group.
I'm scared to make a noise afraid to attract the people. Even though they're in the room I haven't seen their faces. The elephant looks sad. I wonder if it was like me taken away from its family all alone. I panic when the people come close to our cage. They open up a door I charge for the opening and the last I feel was a sharp pain in my back before I am knocked out once
