Savannah's POV Elena and I walked into our house from the hospital where we work. The house was all decorated for Christmas. I ran up to Matt and I's room to change out of my scrubs that I had been wearing all day I changed into my pajamas then went downstairs to start cooking Christmas dinner for tomorrow. I just finished stuffing the turkey for dinner tomorrow. Then backed the pies and put a towel over the rolls so they can rise over night then made the fruit salads. When I felt someone's arms around me. I smiled knowing who it was. Well hello Sheriff I said smiling knowing it was my boyfriend who had come home from work. Hi ma'am he said trying not to laugh. How was your day baby I said now facing him. It was fine we solved a few cases today then went to a crime scene where someone killed there teenage girls and a toddler then themselves we talked to the mother/ wife of the victims asked her why she thought her husband would want to kill their kids and then himself said Matt. Wow that's interesting baby I said. Yea so how was your day baby he asked. It was fine they brought in a guy that was shot and I took out the bullet it was horrible I thought he was gonna die if I took it out but I was able to take it out and stop the bleeding before he could bleed out unfortunately I had to get him a transfusion because he lost so much blood I said. Wow baby that's horrible but amazing horrible that he got shot but amazing that you saved a guy from dying today baby I'm so proud of you he said kissing my forehead and kissed me. Why don't you go change into something more comfortable and then please put the tree up I asked Matt. Of course baby I'll be back he said. Elena and Bonnie walked in the kitchen. I handed them some hot chocolate. I have a feeling tomorrow morning is gonna be one we won't forget said Bonnie. I totally agree with Bonnie said Elena smiling at me. Why it's just Christmas our first Chris tmas all together since college and since we turned human for each other and for our significant other yea it's special but other then that I don't see why there a big deal I said. Oh you will tomorrow morning just wait Damon said. Yep have to wait Stefan said agreeing with Damon. Ok you've all lost it I said. I went and helped decorate the Christmas tree and then put the presents underneath it. Then we all went to bed. Next morning Matt woke up before me so I woke up to an empty bed so I got up got dressed and went downstairs to see everyone up. Elena and Bonnie were smiling and said she's up. Matt looked nervous but happy. I kissed him and smiled Merry Christmas baby I said. Merry Christmas V I love you baby he said. I went and sat between my brothers and side hugged them both merry Christmas D and Stefy I said. Merry Christmas baby sis they said. We opened presents. I got Damon a bourbon set came with 4 glasses. He smiled and said you know me so well. Everyone laughed. I got Stefan journals I know how much he loves writing. He smiled and hugged me. I got Bonnie more witchcraft books. She smiled thank you. I got Elena her own name tag for a desk that says Dr. Elena Gilbert and a stethoscope. She hugged me and smiled thank you. I got Caroline makeup and hair stuff and along with everyone else I got them a memory blanket of all our memories together. They smiled. I made Matt's present it's a memory box of us being together all the first times we did together is in the box to remember those times. He smiled at it. I love it baby he said. Damon got me a Rum kit and a picture of us I smiled and laughed. Thank you D. Stefan got me a copy of all of the Disney princess movies & it's book he knew how much I loved them. I hugged him thank you Stefy. Caroline got me a copy of both Belle's dresses from beauty and the beast. I smiled thank you their beautiful. Elena got me the same thing I got her but mine says Dr. Savannah Donovan. I smiled. Thank you. She said it's Donovan because I know you and Matt will get married one day. I know thank you it beautiful I smiled. Bonnie got me a beautiful raindrop jewelry set it's beautiful Bonnie I told her. It's a locket she said. I opened the locket inside there was a picture of all of us on one side and on the other was a picture of Elena , Caroline, Bonnie and I laughing in high school. Caroline got me a personalized messenger bag and on it was pictures of high school memories and summer memories we've all spent together. I had tears in my eyes cause I miss them. I love it Care I said hugging her. Then something changed my life for the better. Matt handed me a small box I opened it. Inside the box

Then when I looked up Matt was in front of me on one knee and said the words that changed our lives forever. Savannah Jo Salvatore will you do me the honor of marrying me? He asked. I was crying and said oh my god while crying I just nodded my head yes cause I didn't trust my words. He smiled and slipped the ring on my finger and got up and kissed me. She said yes Matt said happily. Everyone cheers Tyler said it's about time. Everyone laughed.
