Reservation, Louisiana. October, 2019. It was a cold, eerie Monday morning, but other than that, it seemed oddly normal.
"Whose house is closest?" Noah asked. "Mine" Rose said.
Rose tried opening the door, and finding it unlocked quirked an eyebrow. "My parents always lock the door."
There was Rose, crouched on the ground, sobbing, her head in her hands.
He sighed, a flash of sadness crossing his face before it turned into something else, something Elizabeth couldn't decipher in the moment.
"Rose no... Please stop.. Now's not the time for your odd tendency of trying to relate to people in morbid ways." Elizabeth whispered.
"We should check my house". Elizabeth said.
"No...no.. please... she's not harming anyone, please, leave her." Elizabeth sobbed
"Fine. You're just making it worse for her, you know."
Rose just looked at her sympathetically, knowing what Elizabeth was trying to do.
"I don't want your sympathy, your pity! I'm fine."
