Edit: My story has grown a lot after posting it here on Wattpad. I have been busy editing it and in the meantime working on my second novel as well (a spin-off of Four Broken Strings - kind of like a part II) which is amazing but is scary at the same time because I have no idea how I did it the first time. I wrote my first chapter of FBS two years back (2017) and life was pretty different then (not as crazy as it right now). Please wish me luck with my second one, I hope that I finish it before the end of this year. As for this one, I will try to upload the edited chapters every now and then because as the writer in me is growing I am finding faults with my existing work (which is a good thing right?).
Take Care. Happy Reading.
*****
Hello everyone! Thank you for reading my novel. This is my first time writing something full length so I appreciate your patience for staying with me till the end (if you ever do lol. I will get my hopes up now). Since I'm from Pakistan, my writing reflects eastern culture and style of living (to an extent). The novel is contemporary, so I've tried to keep it real, the story, the characters, and to keep it interesting at the same time (at least I tried).
I love music. So when I actually got the idea of putting down a whole novel, I couldn't think of a better story. But liking an idea and writing about it is easier said than done.
The hardest character is Penny definitely because even though she's the protagonist, she's no hero. Not even of her own life. Penny is not so perfect, passive, submissive (to an extent), judgy, introvert, and a little foolish at times. she is very ordinary, and so are other people around her. She has her flaws; she takes wrong turns, makes bad choices and ends up in weird situations like we all do at times. Her ordinary life will become somewhat interesting as the book progresses and hopefully leave the readers with some hope and longing. So if you're a music lover, a chicklit lover, a romcom lover, this one is for you. Oh and this novel gave me the perfect opportunity to experiment with my poetic skills.
Lastly, I would request you to please remember to vote if you like my story a small hit on the star will motivate me to write better. Do comment to let me know what you think about the story, the characters, the writing; my improved writing will give you a better reading experience so please give me feedback. Thanks for all the support till now.
So let us begin with these mysterious lines.
If you are thinking,
That I wrote this book
About you,
I did.
