-----------------------------------------------------------

Mcrien quickly rushed to the service lift as the door began closing. But the janitor inside was his friend, so he quickly pressed the open button.

He quickly entered the lift and smiled gratefully at the janitor, wishing him a good morning.

On a first glance, Mcrien looked like an average guy. But anyone spending even five minutes with him will change their opinion later. He was attractive, the cute type.

Even though Mcrien was using service lift, he was an office employee. But he used this to avoid rush and annoying people.

Yes, annoying people. It had taken him a painful backstabbing experience to see the ugly office politics. From them on, he had avoided being friends with office people.

But the other helping staff were okay. They had nothing to gain from you, so he didn't mind interacting with them. And that's what he did. He was on friendly terms with every helping staff.

The lift stopped and The door opened at the first floor. And the most unexpected person came inside- Arthit.

Despite his young age, Arthit was a senior employee in this company. That meant, he was Mcrien's boss too. He was the most sought out person in this office, Because it was a known fact, that he was in the line to become the CEO of the company, a few years on.

So most females and even males lusted after him. And were hoping to be Mrs/ Mr Rojnapat.

But thankfully, Mcrien was not in that race. But it didn't mean he didn't admired Arthit. He did. A lot. But he stopped there itself. No hopes or dreams of becoming the partner of future CEO.

Seeing Arthit, the janitor flustered, and started gathering the cleaning things which were occupying the floor. But they were too many. So Mcrien helped him to carry some of the stuff to make space for Arthit.

It was a kind of funny sight. Mcrien, wearing formals, clutching a bag in one hand and a mop and a bucket in another.

And he could swear that he saw Arthit's lips tilt up a little at the sight.

When the lift next stopped, he nodded at both of them and went out.

-----------------------------------------------------------

It was a daily routine for Mcrien to use the stairs in the evening. Again the same reason, to avoid the rush.

Besides, it provided him a breathing time before mixing into the crowd again.

He was softly humming a tune while descending the stairs, when the door at 5th floor opened suddenly.

And out came Arthit.

He looked at Mcrien, smiled and he started descending too.

Mcrien kept a respectable distance between them. Because no matter how cute his boss looked, he was still intimidating.

He observed the back of his boss. It was the first time, he was looking at Arthit properly. Because they didn't interacted much. And whenever they were together in a meeting, which was very rarely, he was not one of those who could approach him directly.

His thoughts were broken, when one of the staff called him. Apparently, he was blessed with the birth of a son. So, Mcrien stopped and congratulated him heartily. And chatted some bit.
