''A-Ah, nothing! Nothing at all"

And with that,  he turned to his friend and whispered into the still laughing number, that's what Taeil would call him. 

''You fucking Idiot I trusted you with this and he is in the same fucking room! I'm gonna tell your boyfriend about this and he's gonna punish you.''

''Maybe I want to be punished''

''Ew. That's twice you've talked about that. But you know what I meant, cocksucker.''

''Well, I only suck Johnny's di--''

There goes another slap. 

Taeil turns around to Doyoung and walks up to him. 

''S-Sorry Doyoung-ssi, what did you want to talk about with me?''

''Ah, yeah. Can you come to my office at 4 pm? It's very important.''

The CEO walks out of the room, and yes, in that moment, everyone bombarded the poor owl with questions and statements about his love life. 

''OMG! HYUNG HAS A CRUSH ON DOYOUNG HYUNG??'' -Sicheng

''Hah! I knew it! Also, he likes you ba--'' ''Don't tell him... Yet'' -Johnny, Ten

''Wow, I honetly thought he was into Sichengie, that's new'' -Kun

But what they didn't know was, that Doyoung was listening in. 

He likes me? As in that way?? And why the fuck did Johnny say that I like him back?? Wait...

And with that, he sprints away from the office once he hears steps rushing to the door. 

Now, Taeil knew. 

He just passively confessed to Doyoung. And he certainly didn't want that. 

The only thing he was able to do now was to rush to the door and hide somewhere. But his tears were quicker. 

His knees gave in and he helplessly fell, kneeing on the ground facing the door and crying to himself. And as you can imagine, the four other office workers instantly regretted what they had done. 

''Hyung?? Hyungie I'm sorry, are you okay? You don't need to talk if you don't want to.''

Of course, the first one to worry was Sicheng, someone he wouldn't really call a friend but definitely someone he cares about. Because Taeil wasn't as open minded as Taeyong, for example. He would only call someone his friend if he truly trusts them enough and they had spent a long time together. 

But Sicheng was a good hearted person, someone he would want as his friend but because Sicheng is as timid as Taeil, maybe even worse, they both never had the courage to talk except for work. 

So Taeil sat there, in Sicheng's arms crying a waterfall. Or rather two. 

The next one to talk was Ten. And what he said was surprising since Ten had never apologized to anyone. 

''I'm sorry Taeil hyung... Did we say too much? Of course we did... Do you want to tell us?''

''Aish... Guys, it wasn't only us. He probably would have been cool with it, if Doyoung-ssi wouldn't have listened in.''

Kun guessed it. Taeil could only nod, giving a weak smile at Sicheng and finally running out of the room. 

Ten then hurried after his hyung, attracting some eyes from the other technology workers and students. 

Arriving at the toilets he looked at the cabin his friend was in and knocked on it a few times. 

Maybe Taeil is only overreacting? He tends to do that sometimes. 

But actually, the male now thought his whole friendship with the younger was ruined. 

He thinks Doyoung would reject him harshly now, and decide to end their existing relationship. 

But he wouldn't do that, right?

He wouldn't. What of a human being must he be to reject the one that always cared about him so harshly?

But, he wouldn't even reject. 

Believe me, that statement of Sicheng made Doyoung rethink all of his emotions.
