Hard Candy

Chapter 2

I arrived at the party around 6:45. I tried to get there early, but the place was already packed with either drunk or high people.

I got out of the car and walked to the house. I opened the door and there was a girl right behind it, so I ended up knocking her down.

"oops sorry, didn't see ya there." I said smiling.

"Oh it's fine. You look familiar, Do You go to Easton High?" She asked.

"actually I do. One more year there then I'll be off to college. " I told her.

"Cool. So what's your name?" She asked me.

"Alexis. " I told her.

"I'm Skye. I already graduated." She told me.

in the distance I saw Carter in the back of the room waving for me to come to him.

"Well I had a good talk. But I gotta go." I said.

"Okay, see ya around. " she told me.

I ran to the other side of the room to where Carter was.

"Yeah?" I asked confused.

"We need a girl." He asked smiling innocently.

"You need a girl for what?"

"Truth or dare." He said pulling me to a big circle.

'Oh God help me.'

"Okay guys, got the girl." Carter told them obviously drunk.

"Carter, I don't want to do this." I told him nervously.

"It's fine, it'll be fun." He told me winking.

"She said she don't want to play now leave her alone." An unknown voice said.

"Who the hell are you?" Carter slurred.

I turned around to see the most perfect guy I've ever seen. He had dirty blonde hair. He wore a white T-shirt with a black letter jacket and black skinny jeans with black leather boots.

he must have noticed me staring because when I looked back at his face He was looking back at me smirking. oh God that smirk.

"You Okay?" He asked.

I looked around and noticed Carter walked away. He was in the living room making out with a random girl.

"Erm, yeah I'm fine. Thanks." I said smiling.

"yeah, no problem. I'm Calvin, Calvin Harris."

"I'm Alexis, Alexis Reed." I smiled shyly.

"Cool, We should talk sometime?"

"Yeah sounds like fun." I said smiling.

"Okay, uh you gotta a phone? "

Instead of saying yes I grabbed a marker from the table next to us and wrote my number on his hand.

"Thanks, well I got to go." He said pointing toward the door.

"Okay, I was just about to leave too, Wanna ride?" I asked.

"Sure, if that's fine with you?" He and chuckling.

"Yeah it's fine. Let's go."

we walked out the front door together. I didn't notice He had ahold of my hand until He let go.

Our hand fit together like they were meant to be there. I just wished it would have lasted longer.

We climbed into my car both of us shouting the door and looking at each other for what felt like forever.

"So, Erm are we gonna go?" Calvin asked.

"uh, Yeah sorry." I said slightly blushing

I started the engine and took off down the road following his directions. He lives about four houses down from me so it wasn't that hard.

I stopped the car at a two story house. It had a small garden in the front of it. It had a light green door with a balcony at the top floor.

"Nice place." I told him looking at the window.

"Thanks. See ya later." He said

"yup." I said popping the p.
