He was supercilious as ever. With his surplus of unbroken, yet fragile pride, earnest respect for others was obscure to him.

Hastily he made his way day by day. I notice as others try to faintly speak with him, however, his attitude remains somber.

His vitality only ever sparks with his anger. Other thoughts and emotions remain veiled by that fragile pride. He has such an apathy for those he had deemed weaker than him, and I was one of them.

But something's changed. I am the one he hates. To him I was the weakest, saddest form of life to ever exist. But he has unveiled his true self to me. Reluctant yes, but he continues to show more of himself to me. Things he would never dare to share with others. Things that he would kill people for if someone found out. His methods are quite brutish, picking fights with me, belittling me with carefully chosen words. But I see the silver lining.
