He couldn't attempt to even think of how he felt. At first he was skeptical of everything that had happened.
At first everything was impersonal, just like it was in their youth. But things started to change, they were more intimate, more open with one another. It was abrupt, but he didn't mind it. This alter in their relationship seemed for the better.
But there was something that loomed in the back of his mind that seemed to make his soul tremble. Yes things have changed but their new found closeness was on thin ice. It was cardinal to protect it at all costs. Their persistence within the past few days was very adamant. To them it was a fight for better relations but their fights seemed to grow more vehemently and there was something else underneath. Their care for each other wasn't just out of friendship but something else.
They just can't seem to see it yet.
