Lance stared at the Raven and he started right back.

Keith  could feel his eyes beginning to water and felt them burn.

Lance intensed his gaze making the other squirm.

Finally Keith blinked then groaned while covering his eyes and falling back on the bed.

Lance raised his arms in joy making his shirt ride up a bit as he laughed joyously.

Keith wiped his face and glared down at the laughing teen.

Then the others mood became serious.

"Now you have to tell me a secret." Keith was pretty sure he had so much fear in a s eyes Lance had to reassure him by saying,

"I won't tell anyone. I promise."

Keith felt his nose scrunch up. No ever kept secrets secret.

They got told at some point, date, and time.

He sighed. "Fine~" he drawled, his eyes slowly looking to the side as he made the one syllable word longer.

Lance sat with his legs crossed, and elbows resting against his knees.

Keith sighed again.

"Can you..?" He made gestures with his hands that went behind his back.

Lance raised an eyebrow.

Keith's nostrils became comically large as he inhaled deeply.

He crawled over to Lance, ripped his legs open and sat in between them, then, making his arms wrap around him.

Lance chuckled then nuzzles in the crook of his neck and kissed his cheek.

Keith began to talk.

"Well basically...my life...well in a nutshell.... I was mentally and physically abused.".

Lance ripped Keith away and turned him around to hug him.

Keith didn't hug back on account of he was frozen in place.

He could feel the tears well up in his eyes.

Much to his displeasure, he pulled away and continued to talk, occasionally hiccuping.

The story was too much to bear, and he began to wail.

He cried for his dead mother.

He cried for not having a normal childhood.

He cried for the hurtful words thrown in his direction.

He cried in.. confusion. Why would his mother want to be with a man like that!?

Why did she stay with him!?

He remembers a conversation with his mother, and voices the memory with a fond and slightly sad tone.

His mother held up her hands. The palms faced each other and the fingers were pressed together.

"This is a human sprirtual path.".

Keith tilted his head in confusion.

"Everyone has the decision to stay on this path.." she moved her left hand so it was going in an opposite direction.

"Or they can drift from it ."

"Can they come back to the path, mommy?".

She nodded. "But not on their own. They need someone to help give them that push...that OOFPH!"
