"I'm ready to go home DJ." Jimmy said with a groan. DeAndre had convinced Jimmy to go out in LA with him tonight, since the season had just ended for the two of them.
"Perk up, Jimbo. We just got here." DeAndre said looking around the club. Jimmy just rolled his eyes. He was never much of one to go out a lot. He preferred staying in with his guys. "Look if you're not having fun in an hour we can go."
"No. I don't want to ruin your fun." Jimmy said sitting down at the bar. "I can get an Uber home or something. I'll be okay."
DeAndre just laughed at him. "You need to get laid or something, man." The two laughed and carried on. Jimmy ended up having a decent time and before they knew it, it was 2am.
"Woah. It's getting kind of late." Jimmy said stumbling over his feet a little bit. "We should probably get going."
"You're right. You are not in any kinda shape to be out right now." DeAndre laughed at his drunk friend. Jimmy nodded and the two of them headed out of the club.
DeAndre noticed a girl sitting up against the wall outside of the club. "Um, hey are you alright." He asked hoping she wasn't dead.
The girl just groaned, lifting her head up slowly. She moved her hair out of her face to reveal a bruised cheek and her makeup looking like a hot mess.
"Liv?" DeAndre said shocked. "What happened? Who did this to you?" She perked up immediately.
"Dre! I'm so happy to see you." She said trying to stand up. Jimmy was so confused. Out of the whole city of Los Angeles, they would run into someone Dre knows.
"Liv. Are you okay? Did you get into a fight or something?" DeAndre pulled away from the embrace and studied her bruised cheeks and bloody lip.
"You should've seen the other guy." She said giggling. Guy?! He was so confused.
"Did a guy do this to you?" Liv looked up and noticed Jimmy. She knew who he was, but had never officially met him or anything. A panicked look spread across her face.
"Uh, um, oh, no no no." She began to stutter. DeAndre didn't push it further, because he could tell she was uncomfortable talking about it with Jimmy there.
"Well, cmon woman. Let's get you home." DeAndre said helping her to her feet. "Why are you here anyways? You're a long ways from home." Liv was from Atlanta, but she was staying in LA for a job interview with ESPN. She drunkenly tried to explained to him why she was here and where she was staying, but it didn't really make sense.
"You can just crash here tonight. You're basically family." DeAndre said helping her inside his house. "I have a big guest bed with your name on it." He chuckled as she did a small happy dance, while holding the McDonald's bag they had picked up for her on the way home.
"I don't wanna be a bother, D." She said shyly.
"Oh, please. No bother at all." He said flashing his signature smile at her.

Liv stirred in her sleep, waking up slowly. Her head was pounding and she didn't know where she was, how she got there, or what had happened last night. She rubbed her eyes, but winced immediately. She got up quickly, but instantly regretted it and made her way to the bathroom. She puked for what seemed like half an hour. Finally when she was done, she stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. She looked horrible. Her long, brown hair was all over the place, her makeup was a wreck, and she had a bruise on her cheek and a busted lip to go along with it.She noticed a bottle of aspirin, a water bottle, some clothes, and a towel in the bathroom with her. Naturally she decided to take a shower to make herself feel better.
